Visiting Five Below has always been a fun store for me. They have a lot of cool items: from snacks to books to pet items. Customer service is always awesome. I like the Stevenson Ranch location because of the lots of parking. I would definitely visit this location again. :) read more

I love this Five Below Location! Employees are friendly and help you with any questions you have. Store is well organized with stocked shelves. Isles do not feel cramped when maneuvering with a cart. Parking lot/shopping center offers plenty of parking spaces. Prices are reasonable and affordable. read more

Luckily this five below has products that I wanted. The toy specifically targeted here are their zuru smashers. Look them up! They are these small collectible figurines that come in 3 pack, 8 pack and 12 pack variants. Unfortunately they only have the 3 pack but at least they have them. Since toys r us went out of business, I shop here for cheap products, toys and miscellaneous. This five below is better than the other five below in valencia, where I reside because of this toy alone. This zuru smashers is reminiscent to the crazy bones, the trash pack, dragamonz and beaker creature collectibles. I love to collect the figurines as I do pokemon, magic the gathering and yu-gi-oh! Cards. Yes, it is childish and for little children for the most part, but I do enjoy opening them and showcasing them on my YouTube channel. You cannot buy these specific toys at most Walmart stores, target, dollar tree, Ross, Marshall's, grocery stores and even run rare sometimes in Amazon and eBay. I have checked all of these stores and the different locations around where I reside and they are extremely difficult to scout out. Now that I have explained why I enjoyed this store, the customer service is outstanding. Everytime I come in I always get a friendly greeting, the lines if long move very fast and everything in the store is great value for 5$ and below. Although not as cheap as the 99 cents store, they have a variety of candies, toys and products for hair, nails and other unique products. is it better than toys r us? Definitely not. Is it better than FAO Schwartz? Not even close. How about Zany Brainy where I purchased my impossible to find nostalgic Crazy bones? No way! But it is the next best toy store close to home and I believe they are much better than Walmart and target, who don't even sell pokemon and yu-gi-oh! Cards anymore at least from what I observed the past few years. Overall, great store but it depends specifically on your location because at the other five below I went to, they didnt have the zuru smasher toys. I visited when the store was doing a soft launch but the Grand Opening is November 16, 2018. The store is very bright and welcoming. The associates greet you upon entry. They sell a variety of items at a discounted price, hence the title "five below". Everything in the store is $5 or less. They have things like candy, electronics, clothing (limited amount), party supplies, work out gear and more. The quality of the items is not that great but for what your paying for it's pretty cool! WOW, what an amazing employee NICOLE is. I was greeted when I walked in and had a question and NICOLE had all of the answers I needed. What a great attitude, personality and vibe she has and, my wife thought the same thing! If she's NOT a manager she SHOULD BE and if she is, she should be the STORE MANAGER or GM (if they go that high here). But then again, if corporate is in L A or local she should be training MANAGERS!!! I owned an insanely successful retail company that my partner started in 1967 and sold it in 2012 with 3 locations. We were successful BECAUSE of our people. When I would shop anywhere and run across someone like NICOLE I would steal them and make them a deal they couldn't refuse because we wanted to be the best. Most people stayed 3-4 years with the majority 10+ and a couple 35-40! When you have a business with the majority of employees like NICOLE you can't lose. If we still had our business we would get her trust me. If your people are the RIGHT people your customers will know and feel the vibe and be loyal to the business. Thank you to whoever found her. We came in here on a visit over to the strip center. We had been to a five Below so kind of knew what to expect. This particular location was a little disheveled and had merchandise off the shelves or just messed up on the selves. I bought a really cheap item that I used and it was fine. I would think it would be better if they put at least one or two people to straighten items up during the day, likely that is not being done until closing. It was okay though, maybe some items I wouldn't necessarily buy (electronics for one) but the items that are small and it wouldn't matter if you tossed them afterwards...sure. read more

Such a cute and convenient little store catering to all those with at least five dollars to spare. Let me tell you, once you see the awesome selection, you're likely to spend more than $5. I bought a new phone case for only $5.55. Super cute stuff for college dorm or preteen bedroom. The store layout is nice as neat. And the customer service was polite. read more

We came in 10 minutes before closing and they greeted us with we're closing in 10 minutes. I asked them if I should leave, and they repeated we're closing in -0 minutes. Not the customer service you expect from a business. Did not have an opportunity to look at anything, nor do we have a chance to look at the prices. They just straight kicked us out ! read more

Pretty interesting store. Think of 99 cent store only its 5$ and under - duh. Lots of plastic and things that would probably break but there are actually some useful items here. I mean the have $5 volleyballs and basketballs. Spaulding and everything. We actually came in for some burn books which was cool. I imagine some of the electronics wouldnt last very long but hey its 5 bucks right? Anyways better quality than other dollar stores and definitely worth a browse. read more

I absolutely love this store. I found so many cool things here that I normally wouldn't find at a typical 99 Cent Store Daiso dollar King whatever's those little mom-and-pop little 99 cheap stores. They have so much stuff to decorate your house with not big things but little things like baskets to put away your clothes bathroom essentials they even have pillows they have throw blankets little stools pretty neat... me being a girl I went straight for the makeup section that they have a lot of by the way I'm going to a music event this weekend and I found so much cool stuff for it I absolutely love how I don't have to waste so much money typically I would waste $20 on just one item but here I found it twice as cheap so definitely coming back here again.. they have shorts they have leggings they have shirts they have a bunch of candy I can literally go on and on I'm literally just sitting here remembering all the stuff that there is I can go on it be better if you guys would just go in and see for yourself. read more

Where else can you find a full-sized basketball for $5! This place is great for so many items. It's definitely more of a tween or early-college kid's store. They sell dorm-room type decor and fun makeup or beauty items. It's like a Daiso where items are super cheap. You can find many great gift items here. It's my go-to place for pet beds, giftable journals/books and phone cases. They have a lot of candies, kids games, room decor, clothes, toys, school supplies, and seasonal items like Easter baskets or Christmas decorations. I didn't see any five Belows when I lived in NorCal but loved coming here when I lived in Colorado and New York. Their stuff is definitely cheaply made but certain items are definitely worth purchasing. I also got a cat scratch pad for $4 when normally they're around $8 or higher at other stores. I'd highly recommend coming here if you want cheap party favors or if you want to decorate for a summer outdoor game event. read more

Pretty cool concept to come to Valencia. Everything is for $1-$5 dollars with some interesting items. Notable sections were the large candy and chips sections, makeup, $5 tees, yoga pants, sports bras, socks, kids' toys. Came out with a couple $5 dollar yoga mats. read more

Tonight I rushed to the store to be sure I got in 20 mins before closing to get a couple of items. As soon as I came in with my husband and daughter, we were told by Jessica that they close in 15 mins and I told her I know we will be quick. After a good five we were reminded by another girl that we had 9 mins. That's when I realized I was being rushed when I was already rushing myself. I spoke with the manager who then said they didnt have a p.a. system. I work in customer service and know the value of relationships. Providing GREAT service so that they can in turn, talk to others about how good of an impression you left. The manager needs to be retrained. His employees say alot about him. As a business you should be under the impression that every cent counts as well as the impressions you make on others. To the Stevenson Ranch location, I hope you all are not a reflection of the rest of your company. read more
