Pro: big parking lot, cheap items. Con: terrible music, disorganize/ messy area, dirty environment, empty shelves. If you been to one Ross then you been to all Ross because they all have the same layout but this store inside looked like a hurricane sweep through there. It was messy and so disorganized. This store is like a water down version of a home goods. They sell clothes, dog stuff, and home decor. All in all, this place is terrible and probably won't be coming back here for the foreseeable future. read more

All in all, good selection for a discount store. The value is great. The main problem that I see (every time that I shop there) is the service...not because they are not doing there job but because they don't have enough employees to handle the front lines. I actually love the store itself but you need to replace all of your management every single one of them. I am a frequent shopper at least twice if not three times a week. When I was in there shopping I usually spend between 2 and $300 every single time this time my total was only like $80 it was getting to be late I had to still run to Walmart I asked one of the cashiers to open up an extra dressing room because there was like six people in line she didn't acknowledge me she ignored me even when she hollered for the manager she did not answer her over the walkie-talkie. The manager then came out and still would not open up a dressing room. Long story short when I was in the dressing room I was trying to hurry so the other ladies could try their clothes on I left my prescription glasses and my earbuds inside the dressing room when I left I realized what I did I went right back they had already closed but they were still in the store. The manager and the cashier seen me through the window I held my hands up to my eyes like I was telling the cashier I need my glasses and my earbuds pointed out my ears and I pointed the dressing room can you please get them the black manager told her no ignore her. I stood out there then I started pinging my earbuds and they're really loud and they were pinging right to my phone find my device. She then put a rack of clothes in the dresser room where the prescription glasses and the earbuds were all she had to do was reach down and grab them and bring them to me instead she come out of the store and said that she heard nothing. As it excuse me I said ma'am come here I want to show you that they're paying it inside the store they are in here so I push the button and you could hear them outside of the store she's about I'm sorry ma'am I can't let you in well I know that I was just trying to tell you that they're mine and I will be back to get them in the morning since you ignored me why you were in the store this is not the first time that I've had trouble with this particular manager she's a little short chubby color lady and she is rude AF. And then the tall Goofy Oriental girl she was too busy kissing her ass I guess she wanted a dollar raise maybe she wanted 13 dollars an hour instead of 12.50 she was very rude herself too. When I asked her if she seen me she said no I said what you look right at me I pointed at my eyes for my glasses and I went up my ears for my earbuds and you didn't see me you were looking right at me and then you walked in the back and walked back out front and then you two were laughing but you did not see me okay. So I call the police department Winchester Police department and they said absolutely they need to let you have your personal stuff if not tell the morning manager to save it for you and you'll be back in the morning put it up and I told her that and she's that I'll have her look there is no looking there in there I heard them play music when I was hitting the find my device what don't you get out of that you could hear it too you just pretend like you didn't want to hear it. Anyway so I will be returning every stitch of clothes that I bought from there yesterday and I think I got some more home that I bought last weekend that was the big one that was almost $400 I'm going to be returning all of that too they still have the tags on them so you lost a good customer Ross because of your rude management and you're rude minimum wage cashiers. read more

COVID messages playing on a loop - Decent amount of store stock except for shoes. Unless you wear a size 5 in women's, it was slim pickings. Long checkout line into store. When checking out, the cashier/store manager told me to remove the hangers from clothing and take the hangers to a rack back in the store........that was a first! She also snagged a guy in front of me for trying to take a loaded cart out of the store. After he removed all the bags, arms loaded, she told him to return the cart back over to the cart area! Bought a dress decided I didn't like took it back to store to exchange for a different dress was told my dress for refund they could only give me 47cents.....the dress still had price tag on it..keep the dress gave it to a friend....this is disgraceful . read more

Im not sure why a lot of people are giving Ross a bad review. Ross is honestly a really nice store, I find some pretty good things here for cheap prices. Although its not the cleanest most organized place it doesn't bother me. Ross usually has good clothes but sometimes you might look at something from the back and think its nice until you turn it over and see some random image or word print on it. Ross still has good clothes and it has decent toys, make up, shoes, etc. Ross is a pretty good store overall. read more

I had to give it one star because Yelp won't let me leave zero stars. This Ross absolutely deserves zero stars. Possibly even negative integers. Not only were they abominably rude to the woman in front of me, but they were hateful and rude to me and to my kid. Unacceptable. read more

i'm frustrated that i even have to take time out of my day to write about my experiences with Ross. As a company, i've greatly enjoyed shopping at Ross. I'm quite picky when it comes to buying clothes that i like and ross always seems to have something i like. They constantly have new clothes and don't just stack the old ones the way other stores do. With this aside the Main reason im writing this today is to express my extreme disapproval for the customer service i've experienced at the winchester location. Not just once have i experienced Very Rude customer service but the last 3 times!Thats not acceptable! i The list of negative seems infinite when i think about it: not one employee smiled, said hello, thank you, have a nice day, goodbye, can i help you. In fact each time i've went ive been completely ignored or rudely spoken too. It's a shame the customers have to experience this after having a pleasant shopping experience. The management needs to teach their employees how to greet and treat their customers. but to my dismay the management might be the center problem., it was in fact a manager who treated me rudely the first time i shopped there." he opened a checkout spot just to checkout a girl then when i approached he said he was closed and i would have to go to the end of the line.after i had just waited a half hour to checkout in their confusing rope maze. Don't get me wrong, the variety and prices here are fair, but the customer service is ridiculous, and could use some improvement. I have never been more humiliated at a cashier as I was standing in a line with several other customers behind me (4/20/17, 8:40 pm, Assoc: 312425) trying to make a return after making a large purchase. They were items I purchased months ago at the same store, but never made use of, but this associate rung off the items and told me they were not from the same store. She told me that Ross did not even carry the brands of the items, but I had receipts that matched the tags on all the items. I didn't care for the situation, but her attitude, tone, and inappropriate voice volume were very unnecessary. There was no customer privacy in that conversation, and I felt no respect as the customer. read more
