This store is located at The Grove at Winter Garden and it's usually very busy, especially on the weekends. They have pretty much everything from pet stuff, kids' items, home goods, and a little bit of everything in between. I like coming here because you can find a lot of things in one place, but the lines can get crazy busy. They also have security right when you walk in, which honestly makes it feel a little like you're walking into a club . I guess they're just trying to keep everything safe. The store itself is clean, but I barely see staff around. The cashiers also seem like they're always trying to move people through quickly because of how busy it gets. If you really need something from this store, I would definitely come. Otherwise, if you have the option, you might want to try another location that's less crowded. read more

I was in the area so ran in here the other day looking for a Halloween piece. This location is typically incredibly busy, but the day that I ran in, there were not a lot of people around. But I was surprised by though was the disarray of the store in general. Tons of fixtures that just appeared to block views, and you have to navigate around when you're trying to walk in the store. Their Halloween selection is incredibly limited. I know everyone put Halloween out early this year and it's been pretty picked through, but they definitely could consolidate to maybe two shelves tops because of how picked through their items Are. read more

I will NEVER go back to this Ross. They have self check out which immediately gets backed up because the rude gentleman behind the counter is too slow and lazy to get people going. I have been shopping at Ross for many years, but my experience today was by far the worst I have ever had. The associates were incredibly rude and made us feel rushed throughout our visit. What was most disappointing was hearing rude comments being made around my children and my husband, which made the entire experience uncomfortable and upsetting. As a loyal customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Instead, we felt unwelcome from the moment we were there. No family should feel rushed or subjected to unprofessional behavior while simply trying to shop. I hope management addresses these issues and provides additional customer service training to ensure other families do not have the same negative experience. If you don't know this yet about me I personally love Ross; they have a great find, great deals, and great prices. This Ross in particular though has five registers that are self check out but they have a 10 limit max; so it's like 10 items or less only. Which for me personally I honestly love it because if I come to Ross and I only get three items I don't wanna wait in like a two hour long line. Not sure if they have the self check out and any other Ross besides from this one. Today I originally was just looking however I did need some socks and I came across a 10 pack for six dollars. I also grabbed a room spray I personally love the Abi and Sullivan brand they have all these different scents and I spray it in my car I'm normally where everybody's feet go so it smells nice; last but not least I grabbed a new water jug because I always take one when I go out and to the theme parks etc. This Ross is located next to the Old Navy and in between the marshals up in the Winter Garden Plaza Center. 10/10 read more

The worst location. As bad as it can possibly be. Christmas hours are till 10.30. We walked in at 9.30 pm. Nobody has announces that their fitting rooms close at 10. No sign at the store at all. I tried to try on the stuff at 10.10 and yhe fitting rooms were closed. Even store closes at10.40... I have spent an hour there picking up the stuff to buy and was not able to try it on. I asked for the manager Sheysy and she said - nothing can be done, their service sucks and they do not announce fitting rooms will be closed at 10 , it us not their job to do so, she said. She did not open one and did not try to help st all. Cashier Angela was scanning my dad's stuff with the attitude , when i asked why, she said- she gives me the attitude cause i did so. This was a pre-Quarantine visit that I made certain to leave as a draft so I could elaborate later. This was a Ross Dress for Less that I accompanied a good friend to purchase an item that was being held from an online shopping experience. I had to put aside my predetermined dislike for this store to be objective. So this review has two stars which is one more star than my local Ross store in Jax. That's not saying much. However, I must preface that the store was immaculate! Nothing on the floor, items sized, aisles clear and free from product discarded by uncaring browsers/shoppers and the employees were moving about to ensure this clutter free store remained that way. Kudos. However...it was the only focus and not the service to the customer. I walked about awaiting someone to acknowledge my presence, ask me if I needed assistance, etc. none of that happened. In fact, I purposely walked to the areas where associates were working to at least get eye contact, get a verbal or bat of an eyelash or a smile. It was as if I was an invisible spirit walking amongst them. Not good. But hey, they were making certain this review was not going to mention anything negative about the way they keep the merchandising, visuals or ease in which to shop. No siree! So props they accomplished that 100%. But damnit man, just look up, say "hi", let the would be purchasers know they even are a part of why you receive a paycheck. I may have purchased something not to just ruin the conversion. I digress. Oh yeah! The bathroom was flawless! So that was major but I could've been persuaded to buy something (I did see a couple of items I'd open my wallet for...don't let that get around) but I didn't for the reasons stated. read more

It's funny how I read the reviews and after going couldn't agree more with them. The staff is crazy rude for no reason. It is the most uncomfortable shopping experience. The store was very dead today on a Monday yet they are rushing everyone through the line when there's 2 people in line. The lady that rung me up scanned everything and then said "ok.." like I'm supposed to know that she's ready for me to tap my card. Also if I was paying cash how would I know what the total was when the only word she said was "ok" Then after I pay she's immediately scanning the next persons items. No have a good day. Not a damn word. Plus I had to reach over the counter myself and rip the receipt out of her machine because I didn't exist anymore once I paid. What a shit show this place is. Never again read more

Large store, their stock is often a bit picked over, a bit on the meh side for where it's located. That truly surprised me too, because it's not far from the area where many of the folks who work for "The Parks" live. read more

I don't mind digging a bit for a deal, but this hot mess of a store is a little too chaotic for me. While they do have the standard offerings, they weren't in good shape organization wise, making it hard to find those good deals one seeks out when shopping at this chain. Sizes were pretty mixed together despite having marked sections. Housewares was way more of a mash up of items than usual. The clearance section was primarily straight up broken items. The staff was friendly and the shoe section was in good shape, so that's one area of hope here! Overall: C Too much work to shop and enjoy. read more

Walmart:Ross::Target:Marshalls Marshalls is next door so it's easy to compare. Ross is like a warehouse and Marshalls is a much more pleasant place to shop. Since they are so close it's easy to shop at both. I prefer Marshalls but every now and then find something good at Ross. read more

I love how you can find literally anything in Ross! It's like a little Mary Poppins' bag for anyone! I like how they have everything set by gender, size, etc. The only thing I wish was that they had more shelving/racks. The racks are very small , so all of the clothes get bunched up together and it's hard to maneuver through it all. And the knick knacks and candles are so clumped together on random shelves , at least one glass item breaks per day I bet. read more

The manager here is INSANELY rude. I had gifts to return that the purchaser had pulled the stickers off of but clearly left part of the sticker on and i ALSO found all the exact items in the store to reference them before i went to the register. The employee went to get a manager to verify and the manager Approached with an annoyed and "unhelpful" attitude from the moment she came up to me. She then said she could not return the items "it doesn't work like that" and she walked away from me in the middle of me asking her how that was possible if I had the exact same items and I even found the exact same items in the store for them to reference them? This had to have been the most uncomfortable shopping experience I've ever had. Trying on clothes felt like I was at the airport being strip searched. Walking through the aisles felt like the guards were on duty and I was a prisoner( by the way, I have never been to prison but this is what I can imagine it would feel like) . Checking out was just as bad even though the checkout clerk was really really nice . The clothes are beyond reasonably priced. Is theft really that big of a problem here? read more
