This is an excellent Hone Goods store. There are so many beautiful things for sale in every direction. I always try to check here before buying anything because they carry some name brands. I recently bought metal nesting table , a plastic fruit diffusing pitcher, vegetable chips, a microfiber dish drying mat ($4.99!) , two high end plastic organizer baskets,, etc.

Every time I come to this store, the line is way too long. There is at least 75-100 people waiting in line because it's a combined store with Marshalls which makes it more difficult when you only have one or two items. The store itself is great but it's brings down the experience when you're waiting in line longer than the time it took to look for my items.

There are very few stores that can derail my self control in under five minutes, and World Market…read moreis absolutely one of them. The moment I walk through those doors, I am no longer a disciplined adult with a budget. I am on a treasure hunt. I have visited locations all over California and Florida, and every time I go, I have to mentally prepare myself. Part of me wishes there were one closer to where I live now, and part of me knows that is probably for my own financial protection because I would absolutely be there constantly. The international food section alone is enough to keep me wandering the aisles for an hour. After traveling through Europe, Asia, South America, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean, there is something deeply satisfying about seeing specialty items from all over the world sitting right there on the shelf. No ordering online. No waiting for deliveries. No hoping the packaging survives shipping. Just reach out and grab it. It makes recreating flavors from past travels so much easier and far more fun. Then there is the furniture and décor. It is eclectic, global, colorful, and usually visually light. You are not going to find heavy, dark, traditional pieces anchoring a formal estate here. Instead, you get carved wood, woven textures, interesting silhouettes, and pieces that feel like they came from somewhere with a story attached. I gravitate toward the exotic details every single time. One of my favorite finds ever was a carved wooden fruit bowl with a sculpted handle on top and a completely unique design. It felt like something you would stumble upon in a market overseas and then carefully carry home in your suitcase. I also have a personal weakness for anything featuring lions, tigers, or leopards, so I always keep my eye out for those motifs when I am there. It is a dangerous game. There are so many things in that store that I have to start curbing my enthusiasm before I even walk through the door. Otherwise, I will convince myself that I absolutely need half the place. World Market is not just shopping for me. It is a treasure hunt with serious temptation attached.

With that being said, it didn't seem like they had a lot. Although they are beginning to get their fall stuff and they've got some cute hand towels out. Outside of that I didn't find a whole lot this go around except for a couple of beverages and bags of chips.

The Ambience is not like the upscale glitz and glamour of a Home Goods but they have a variety of items at good prices. They were well stocked. Good customer service. I was looking for a beverage dispenser but only saw the smaller size. I needed the larger size. An associate was walking the floor and asked if she could help. She said she knew Old Time Pottery carried the larger size and helped me look. Finally I was able to get my large beverage dispenser. The same associate saw me waiting in the check out line and immediately motioned for me to come over to ring me out.

Old Time Pottery is a great store for everything home decor or organization, or kitchen necessities…read moreaside from appliances. This location is very large, so large it includes several empty isles. They have several different areas of the store that are marked by large signs above your head. They include floral, furniture, frames, mirrors, wall decor, rugs, linen, lamp, dinnerware and glassware, houseware, and even pet supplies. All of the sections kind of blend into each other, which is okay because it's fun to just go up and down the isles in the store. They truly have everything you'll need for your house and they have a huge selection to choose from for just about everything. I found lots of bakeware that looked of good quality for good prices, even a lot on sale for 90% off! I wouldn't say anything here is very ~elegant~ if that's what you're looking for, but you can definitely mix and match lots of pieces in this store to make a beautiful home. Only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I noticed lots of glass items were chipped and I saw some incomplete or just broken items at full price.

5 Stars Title: The Ultimate Home Decor Wonderland - If They…read moreDon't Have It, You Don't Need It! I've been to a lot of home stores, but At Home in Clermont, Florida is on another level. This place is MASSIVE, beautifully organized, and honestly feels like a treasure hunt for your house. Walking through the aisles, you realize pretty quickly why everyone says, "If they don't have it, you don't need it." They have EVERYTHING. I went in just looking for a couple of throw pillows and a lamp... and walked out with a full cart: a gorgeous new coffee table, seasonal outdoor planters, trendy wall art, kitchen barware, and the softest bedding set I've ever felt. The displays are styled so perfectly that you can't help but get inspired for your whole space. Prices are ridiculously affordable too--way better than big-box competitors for the quality and variety you get. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable without hovering, and the checkout was quick even on a busy weekend. Whether you're moving into a new place, refreshing a room, or just treating yourself to something pretty, this is the one-stop shop that actually delivers. At Home in Clermont has officially ruined me for every other home store. I'll be back (probably next month). If you're anywhere near Clermont, do yourself a favor and go. You won't leave empty-handed... and you'll thank me later!

A Walk Through IKEA: A Test of Stamina, Direction, and Job Flexibility…read more January 10, 2026 My first serious trip to IKEA made me realize that this is not just a furniture store. It's a carefully designed one-way journey. The layout is extremely thoughtful--so thoughtful that it's almost impossible to visit just one section. Whether you're there to buy a single mug or simply "have a look," you will be guided through the entire store. I managed to do even better than that. I got lost. Not only did I get lost, I walked part of it twice. The most important detail: I was wearing four-inch stilettos. In IKEA, those are not shoes. They're a personal challenge. After what felt like a full hike, I finally reached the exit and thought I was done. That's when the real test began - checkout. Most stores at least give you options: self-checkout or cashier-assisted checkout. IKEA is very decisive. Self-checkout only. So there I was, scanning items, bagging them myself, slowly realizing I had taken on a new role. The screen even politely asked: "Are you a member?" I couldn't help laughing. I had just become a temporary cashier, without an employee discount, and without a paycheck. And then came the final surprise. At the exit - nothing. At Costco, for example, there's always someone checking receipts. At IKEA, the exit is completely empty. For a moment, you might think this reflects IKEA's deep trust in its customers. Then another thought occurs to you: maybe they also saved the salary of that employee. By the end of this IKEA trip, I had completed: a full-store walk, a detour with repetition, a high-heel endurance test, a self-checkout internship, and a quiet reflection on trust and cost control. Next time, I'll wear flat shoes. As for the salary and staff discount - I won't get my hopes up. I spent $53.69 in total that day. $29.95 went to pear-flavored sparkling water. Which means over half of my IKEA budget was... hydration. IKEA: where your legs get a workout, your patience is tested, and your self-checkout skills improve... all in one visit. I guess I overestimated my ability to wear high heels. I may have slightly overestimated my high-heel endurance. In hindsight, I clearly overestimated my ability to survive IKEA in high heels. I confidently assumed I could handle high heels at IKEA. I was wrong.
