Raw pasta ready to be cooked!
    Kelly O.

We did a cooking class for €50 (about $60 usd). We had so much fun! We booked it online the day before, it was the cheapest one I could find. We learned how to make two types of fresh pasta and tiramisu. We also got about 3 glasses of wine! What a bargain. The class and dinner lasted about 2 hours. Our instructor spoke little English, which made the Italian experience feel even more authentic! After we made the pasta the chefs prepaid and cook it for you. Everything was delicious! You get a LOT of food! Thank goodness the tiramisu was light and fluffy! I would definitely do this again and highly recommend giving it a try! Or just go there to eat, I have trouble determining if a restaurant has fresh pasta or pizza dough, I know this place does!

I had several pizzas when I was in Italy (Florence, Venice, and Cinque Terre). This was the best pizza I had the entire time I was there. We sat right next to the pizza oven and watched the cooks make and cook the pizza. I devoured and savored the pizza at the same time. I've been searching for a pizza this good ever since, but haven't been able to find it. I might just have to go back to Rome! I also ordered the house red wine which was a mistake because it was very fruity and bubble. I would have preferred a dryer wine to pair with the pizza.

We also did the cooking class - found on Viator. It was awesome, best experience in Rome BY FAR. Grace was a fabulous chef and a great teacher, she says her English isn't great but she was totally still understandable and you were able to have a great time. She would tell you how to do it and show you if you weren't doing it right. Lets get to the food!!!!!!!!!! The food was magnificent and we made it, I am willing to say that I bet the food prepared by the chef is even better! All of the ingredients tasted so fresh. We had a glass of wine and tiramisu and everything was perfect. Also in a very central location so easy to get to from everywhere. Would 100% recommend coming here either for the cooking class or just eating.

I can't remember the name of this pasta but was really tasty

Best pizza I have ever had! And the pasta was amazing too! Rogelio our waitress was really nice, everything we asked for was served really fast. And all the food we order was delicious I definitely recommend this place.

If you are looking for a good pizza, Rossopomodoro is your to-go place. I had the 5 cheese pizza and an Aperol Spritz, and it was very good.

Daniel, the son of the chef and part owner was gracious and conversational and made great recommendations for our dinner. We started with a crispy sage leaf appetizer made simply with sage leaves lightly battered and fried in olive oil. Yummy! All of the pasta is made fresh and Mary selected Ravioli ricotta e Spinach while I selected Saltimbocca alla romana (Veal slices in Roman style) and both dishes were delicious. After dinner we opted out of dessert, but Daniel brought a treat to the table consisting of two sugar coated cookies and suggested we soaking them in our wine as a final treat. They were Wonderful! So far one of the best meals we have had in Rome. We would both highly recommend this restaurant, both for the family atmosphere and the great food. We hope to return before leaving Rome.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

I had possibly the most amazing chick food pasta a girl could imagine. Girls know what girl food is. The pasta in Italy is just better -obviously. But then put all sorts of girl flavors on it like Lemon and Orange, just lightly enough, zest with a small hint of cheese-..... omgosh. Yes, yes, and yes. Need my hubs to replicate at home. He is going to be busy trying to perfect this. Tagliatelle with orange and lemon parmesan. This was it. It was the best. Everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Wait outside. They don't have a sign telling you to wait, no server telling you to wait. You wait out there, wondering if you're in the right place, but then people stand behind you and you're like - oh! I'm here. This is the place. There are possibly 4 tables inside. It's small. I read about them being rude- we did not have that problem. In fact, they made a mistake and we kindly let them know we ordered something else- they corrected it and were nice about it.
