She used some kind of slippery shiny synthetic hair to braid my cornrows for crochet braids! Terrible....consequently HALF of my braids literally FELL OUT after 2 weeks! Rossy called me Thursday morning I drive 40 minutes to get to her house she tells me the tow truck guy is coming to pick up her car they sale in Nigeria 2. she wanted me to come back that evening and start I already drove 40 minutes then she wanted me to come back Friday to braid my hair another 40 minutes Drive one way 3. My 6 year daughter's hair was styled in 2 French braids with added hair. The smaller braids using her natural hair looked very neat, so I was very hopeful that I would be pleased with the overall look. Unfortunately, the actual French braids with the added hair came out terrible. It began looking old and tattered within 24 hours! She charged $70 and actually had me hold my daughter on my lap the last 15 minutes of the appointment because she kept complaining that bending forward was hurting her back. Even though she advertises that she travels, she had me come to her...which since I live outside of Moreno Valley, I understood completely. I made the appointment 2 weeks in advance, confirmed again the morning of the appointment and then she changed the time 5 minutes later from 11am to 5:45pm with no explanation as to why. I also wish she had told me that I would be sitting in a dingy makeshift 'salon' in her home with boxes of hair and other random products everywhere and not an actual shop. It took me time to find her location and she had some inappropriate Nigerian soap opera on the tv the entire time that my 6 and 4 year old were there. I don't expect any stylist to entertain my kids but when you know you have minor age clients, it would help to be a little accommodating. I couldn't wait to get in my car and book an appointment with a different and more professional stylist, which is exactly what I did. read more
