I took a chance on this salon as I used to go there before Covid. I told the person who answered the phone I needed someone to fix a horrible haircut I received a month before. I AM IN LOVE WITH MY HAIR!! Erica took my THICK hair and has transformed it with an amazing red/purple color melt. At one point, my hair decided to not cooperate with the color the first 2 times, leaving parts of emerald green. It took longer than we expected, but she was willing to stay as long as it took until the color came out perfect. It is PERFECCTT! I knew from the beginning I was in good hands, she was able to cancel out the green in my hair by adding the lovely red. It's 2023 and these people don't know what curtain bangs are. When a client says "I don't want my bangs above my eyebrows", you don't cut them above the brow. When a client says "I don't want blunt bangs", you don't give them blunt bangs. Keyword: DON'T. (That means no!) The last 3 times I've come here, I've showed pictures of the face-framing CURTAIN BANGS that I wanted, and every time, I've walked out looking like a naughty kindergartener who got a hold of mommy's scissors. I suggest some of these people go and seek proper hair training, watch some online tutorials, practice many times on mannequins until learning and mastering the art of curtain bangs. Nobody wants to have to walk around for 5 or 6 months looking like Dora the Explorer stuck her finger in an electric socket. I used to love this salon until my hairstylist either quit or found something better, and she knew what she was doing. Since then, I've been repeatedly traumatized. I put my trust in the people holding scissors, having faith that they understood me as they nodded, "listened" to what I wanted and "uh-huh, mhm, okay"ed their way to the hair washing sinks, then botched my hair that I waited so long to grow out. So much for a nice trim for the holidays... color me disappointed. Even Lydia Deetz has better bangs than WTF happened to me here. There is a BIG, dramatic difference between curtain bangs and micro bangs. I was given micro bangs against my specific request. read more
