Don't miss the salsas located to the left of the stand. I didn't see that and one of the employees was so kind and help dress up my tostadas to my spice preference. Also make sure to get the horchata, as it was the best I've ever had! It was sweet, creamy, and spiced well. This place is in my top 10 favorite bites of all time, it's so simple but so good.

I highly recommend the ceviche and another dish he bakes in a big clam shell on a toaster oven sitting on the tailgate of his white truck. Seating is plastic chairs under a 10x10 easy up, but you won't care because the food is so good. If you try it (and I hope you do) tell him Desert Dingo Racing sent you. If I recall correctly, there was a line on each side of the tiny stand to separate the ceviche menu and the fish menu (I would triple check with the staff which line you're standing in before you start your 30 minute wait!). They accept both cash and card, and you'll find both locals and tourists in line. That's when you know it's good :) The best, freshest seafood I had my entire trip. I visited in June, so I think the summer vacation folks made it more crowded but I promise it's worth it! There was a sauce table where many customers were pouring from different bottles onto their orders, and I wish I had the courage to try them lol. If you're adventurous with spice, I would go for it! I found the ceviche completely fine without anything extra, and I was able to bring it back to the ship to take my time enjoying.

This port was a stop for the Carnival Cruise Line (Ship - Carnival Radiance) to explore Ensenada. Upon arrival, disembarking from the cruise ship was easy. Guests were able to walk directly off the ship with the crossing bridge. At the port, I was pleased with the couple of offerings with the vibrant 'Ensenada' signs for photo-worthy pictures. The waterfront area offered decent views, with a plethora of boats and many plants ashore. The port itself was easy to navigate through but it was a bit of a walk into Ensenada. When walking into the city, there were a bunch of street-based food/merchandise vendors, restaurants, convenience stores, and local businesses nearby. Overall, the cruise port allows the opportunity to venture around Ensenada, Mexico for shopping, dining, sightseeing and so much more. Ensenada provided an adequate exploration experience. Much appreciation to Carnival Cruise Lines for bringing guests here while on the cruise vacation to experience the Mexican culture.

Just a quick Uber ride from the border and you can be munching on fresh ceviche and savoring an ice cold glass of house-made sangria. That's exactly what we ordered! I appreciated the option for indoor or outdoor seating. Since it was an extremely hot and humid day, we opted to sit inside, where the fans were a lifesaver. We ordered drinks at the bar inside and then picked up food from one of the several vendors outside. The staff was welcoming and checked on us several times, even offering our group a large table upstairs, which was a considerate touch. From coffee to pastries, sweets, snacks, wine, beer, seafood, pizza, and everything in between, Telefónica is a great way to start or end your day in TJ.
