Issues with customer service including not calling me back and hanging up on me…read more Thursday May 24th I called Staffier Associates because I needed the Psychiatrist I see to refill a prescription. The administrative staff member I talked to was able to collect my information (including what pharmacy I went to) and told me I'd be all set to pick it up the next day. I went there Saturday May 26th and it was not at the pharmacy. I started calling Staffier May 26th after realizing the prescription wasn't there and no one answered. I called twice each day from May 26th to May 31st between business hours posted on the website and left messages everytime I called detailing the problem and the urgency (as I had run out of my anti-depressant on May 26th and around the 28th and 29th starting having withdrawal symptoms such as dizziness, mood swings etc). NO ONE ANSWERED ANY OF THE TIMES I CALLED. Finally I called them again on May 31st and someone answered. After answering "Staffier Associates, can you please hold?" I was put on hold for 5 minutes (as was displayed on my phone's screen). After I explained what had happened and how many times I had called the person on the other end of the phone said "I placed the prescription yesterday and called you, when did you go to the pharmacy? " I responded because I was frustrated by saying "I went there Saturday because I had been assured that the prescription would be there FRIDAY. I know I never receieved a call or message from anyone there, how come no one returned ANY of my many messages?" She responded and said "I can't tell you why it wasn't done before, but it is there now." I did persist to get an answer on why no calls were answered during business hours OR why I hadn't received any calls back. The person on the other end of the phone said "The prescription is there now so you are all set" and then she HUNG UP ON ME. I was very upset that someone had acted this way, I hadn't been yelling, I don't think I was sounding demanding but got hung up on by what was supposed to be a professional office. I called them back immediately after I had spoken with them (10-10:15am), at which point they did not answer the phone. I left a message asking if they hang up on all of their clients and then requesting to cancel all future appointments I had with them for follow up. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT A PART TIME JOB TRYING TO HUNT THESE PEOPLE DOWN.

My husband and I needed help regarding a personal matter that was very upsetting to us. My husband called this office on a Monday. We were greeted with an answering machine stating to give them 3 business days to call back. By Wed, we hadn't received a call back so we left another message. A secretary called back and said "I don't think the therapist has any after school appointments, but I'll check". She never called us back and it is now Thursday. I have never felt so alone and desperate. I felt like we were "putting them out" and that they didn't care at all. The customer service was horrendous. I am notifying the school not to recommend them. They made me feel so much worse during this crisis, at a time when I was desperate to reach out to a professional.

I drive over an hour each way to see her and it's been so worth it. I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift. Even the people around me noticed. After that first session, the tension in my shoulders decreased, and the only way I can describe it is that everything (physically & mentally) felt like it had been taken down a notch. Since working with her, my sleep has completely transformed. I went from having an extremely hard time falling asleep and waking up almost every hour, to now pretty much sleeping through the night. If I do wake up, I can fall back asleep easily, and I'm even dreaming a lot which I take as a sign I'm finally getting deep, restful sleep. Marisa has truly touched my life. She is genuinely an angel. She listens, she cares deeply, and she is incredibly dedicated to her clients. If she doesn't have an answer right away, she always follows up, whether by email or the next time you see her, which says so much about the level of thought and attention she gives. I don't feel comfortable around many people, but there's something about her energy that is so light and reassuring. She creates such a safe, welcoming environment, and it makes all the difference. I'm so grateful to have found her and truly can't recommend her enough.
