I went to Excel PT (formerly Apex) in Blue Bell, PA which I had gone to years ago when I had surgery on my knee. Nothing had changed except the name. The people that work there are fantastic! From the desk to the Therapists! They treat everyone special and give much support all their patients, no matter their problems. I was assigned to Angela Tate and Rachael who were both fantastic. My shoulder is back to normal and I left with information on how to keep everything moving perfect! I need that at 68 years of age. They gave me steps to take at home so when I was not there I could continue my progress to get better faster. Both Angela and Rachael kept close eye on my progress through out all the visits and I knew exactly what I needed to do to get better fast. I did drive farther going to this site, but it was well worth the time and effort and money.

I contacted the office three times and got absolutely nowhere with getting them to escalate this issue of getting a pre-authorization. I was in a lot of pain and I really needed to get this done. And I explain to them the reason I was going to a secondary Dr was because I wasn't getting a lot of progress getting into see someone at Rothman. if you want timely follow up care by the office personnel such as preauths and returning phone calls, I would avoid this office completely.

I'm 28, so treatment is basically exercise (PT), and anti-inflammatory meds. I called requesting anti-inflammatory meds (first time since being diagnosed), before traveling when my joints exhibited the same symptoms that resulted in my original diagnosis. Dr. Keller said it was illegal to prescribe me the medication without seeing me again. Note, I offered to schedule an appointment for post my trip, and I was requesting anti-inflammatory meds, not opiods/narcotics. His office continued to refuse. Unacceptable treatment of a patient, which seems more geared towards earning an extra buck, and liability aversions, rather than honoring the hippocratic oath. Instead, I'm going to an urgent care to get the help I should be receiving from Dr. Keller.

I saw many Drs , Chiropractors and Massuse's to help with the pain but only had temporary relief. Since I have been a patient at Highpoint Pain and Rehabilitation I feel like a new person! Dr Kelly has gotten to the exact points where my pain is in my back and I can truly say I'm have periods of more than 6 months pain free! In my opinion he really knows his stuff!!! And did I mention how wonderful he is as a person. He makes you feel as though he has been a friend your whole life. It was the right decision. Ian and his team (shout out to Michaela) are awesome. It's a very chill environment, Ian plays great music, everyone is friendly and helpful, and Ian really knows his stuff and speaks with authority and care. In just a handful of sessions, I already started feeling better. They push you just hard enough so it's a challenge but you don't get hurt. I highly recommend the skill of the therapists at ATI Conshohocken.

Today I want to say that their staff is among the best! I had a bit of emergency yesterday...when I called, I spoke to Regina who is very kind and helpful...there were no immediate appts with Dr Markos so she transferred me to Triage where I spoke to Lisa. Again, outstanding help and took all my information and sent it over to Dr. Markos. She called back with directions from Dr. Markos for me to go to the ER. Today I called to see if Dr Markos had any cancellations so I could see him soon. Spoke to another young lady who was also wonderful and did find me an appointment. The "staff" often get forgotten or lost in the reviews with doctors taking precedence. But these ladies went above and beyond and I feel need the recognition as well. So thank you to them and all of the great staff at US Digestive Health. I couldn't be more thankful!

There seem to be a lot of miscommunications and confusion at the receptionist but finally they called my name and took me back to where all the action is. The nurses and the doctor were professional, and very very nice. Next thing I know, I woke up with candid photos of my sphincter. No I'm not posting them. All in all it was a good experience and I'm willing to forgive the front of the house. They probably just got a little behind (get it?).
