It was their first night of the new menu and delivery service so I got to be guinea pig to the new menu. This is quite a large Premier Inn, with lots of parking. It's situated beside a busy road junction, but the rooms were quiet enough and up to the usual high standard of Premier Inn. We ate in the restaurant as there is nothing else of note in the immediate area, and were very happy with the food. They do a dinner/breakfast deal for £23.99, and as the breakfast is all-you-can-eat, this was a pretty good deal. Free Wi-fi in the bar and reception areas too.

It was the best place ive been to in leicestershire since ive moved here the staff were very helpful attentive and very happy in thier work which made for a pleasant dinning experience. i would recomend this to any one the food was excelent fast and well cooked. The experience was just like sitting at home with the familey arround you enjoying the day but with out the cooking and washing up. If you are out that way and you want a good sunday lunch then you could do no wrong trying here well i live the other side of leicester and i would travel over thier again any time.

Many hotels use quilts and they are not adjustable which means that in hot weather you cannot reduce the thickness of the cover. The shower room was excellent. Staff service was fine. The hotel is very conveniently located next to Rugby station and there is a Tesco convenience store in the same building so if you only want a pastry for breakfast that is possible. Breakfast in the hotel is reasonable for the price but not great. Sausages, scrambled egg, beans and bacon, toast cut fruit, cereals and pastries. The sausages tasted cheap but generally it was acceptable. Overall this hotel was very good value for money and a clean comfortable place to stay.

The group I was…read morewith had two rooms booked and in one of the rooms the television didn't work at all - in the one that did, it was impossible to work out how the telly functioned (I know, right: surely you switch it on and choose a channel? No.), and no member of staff knew how it worked either; the plughole in the sink didn't work properly and there was a dirty towel. Oh - and none of the staff knew how the door locks worked (fyi: you pull the handle UP to lock it). While we sat at breakfast a man from another room complained that his toilet was not attached to the floor! Haha - oops. Hmm. It's a shame because the location is lovely and they're getting the food and ambience part so right. I'm intrigued as to how they got five AA stars.

We were also able to order sandwiches late at night due to the nice guy at the front desk. However, the rest of the staff was not as friendly. When we went to the front desk the next night to ask for information on pizza places in the area, the woman behind the front desk told us she did not have one. When we requested the number for Domino's, she said she could only give us the number but no menu. She made it very obvious by rolling her eyes and sighing that she was put out by our simple request for a phone number. We were also booted out of the lobby area for eating fish and chips, after we had asked 2 different staff members if it was okay to eat our food in the area. There is free Wi-Fi, but it is very slow. Due to the bad attitude of some of the staff and the out of the way location to anything else in the area, I do not think we will stay there on our next visit.
