We didn't swim but the kids did and they had a blast! You're able to bring a cooler with food and drinks ( juice, tea, soda, water. No alcohol) they have a food truck on site, as well as a "dirty soda" stand. Flavored sodas with cream (very popular in Utah but slowly making their way to the east coast) as well as a first aid bungalow. Everyone gets a life vest but kids under 18 MUST wear theirs at all times! I like that rule! Keeps the kids safe. Of course the teens working there are certified lifeguards just in case! They also offer scuba classes/lessons at the quarry. Would I come back? YES! Maybe one day I would try the courses and swim or paddle board but the go around it was nice relaxing and letting the kids live carefree in the lake!

It's been home for the Cyclones , a local swim-team for kids preschool-12th grade, which keeps them conditioned, learning and honing their strokes and developing team building skills. This experience has been invaluable to many in the community. They have ample room for adult swimmers during adult swim. The kids all look like they are having a great time whenever I have been there.

They have different sections of the pool. During the right time of day it is nicely shaded by the trees. The service is dependent on who you get. You have a great experience or an "alright" experience. Is this a facility that deals with a wide range of age - which is great in most cases. I did have on experience that was no pleasant in my opinion. I asked the front desk "Where is the women's locker room?" The guy followed that question with "How old are you? *laughs* 17?" I replied with "I am 20 years old & where is the women's locker room?" I feel like that was a rude & condescending comment. I asked where the women's locker room is. Not to be laughed at and assumed to be under 18. I think laughing at me and assuming I was under age was unnecessary. Instead if he thought I was underage he could have just said the women's locker room is .... and we also have a girls locker room here ... But for the most part this is a nice family friendly place!

Everything is set up and waiting for us in the morning. The umbrellas NEVER pull loose or blow away (a problem in past years with our own umbrellas). The chairs are very comfortable -- adjustable and with foot rests. Well worth the price. Will definitely use Grants for future visits.

ATVs and motorcycles are welcome, however we do not allow trucks or jeeps on the trails or riding in the rivers.
