Jay Z came to my rescue 2 times since storing items here. The first time I got lucky when he happened to be on site to lease me another unit on the spot when my box's would not fit in one storage unit. The second time was today. Apparently the movers stacked boxes too high and as they settled and shifted they blocked the roll up door. I was not able to get the door open. I called the main storage and Jay Z scheduled a time to come help me get the door up. He literally had to crawl into the unit and move items to get the door open. He didn't have to help me but he did! Thank you Jay Z! Great experience! Note these units are not climate controlled but perfect and easily accessible for my need. read more

I've read the past reviews and no wonder the place costs less than others. I have been renting two units here for about a year or more now and can say the place must have turned around. For those of you concerned with mice, there are bait boxes all over the property. There are security cameras, although I don't know if they are real or not, but they certainly look like they are. I have had no issues with either of my units, and the automated billing has been spot on. I can't imagine a better place, unless it was closer to my house! read more

RR Mini Storage was nothing but helpful, kind and easy to work with. Their prices are far lower then most and their units are easily accessible. But honestly the biggest complement I have to give this company is their outstanding customer service! We have been using their storage for many years. I believe some new owners came in last year and have started hiking the rates up. Our rate 2 years ago was $50/month. They hiked that to $104.95/ month. And just this month without notice (they claim to have sent something but we did not get it) have hiked it to $159.95. This is an astronomical price hike. Now we want to get out and they of course say you cannot cancel this month. Stay away. Go to one of the brand names where you are sure there will be someone has to follow some policies. The units themselves are minimum shelter from the elements. Go somewhere else. read more

This place is the worst at customer service. Every time we went in it felt like we were a terrible inconvenience and the lady was rude. They double charged us rent once and said it was our fault and wouldn't refund the $$. Upon move out - which we did as soon as we could - that process was a big pain as well. Hard to get the auto draft canceled and again, terrible customer service. Pay the extra $$ and go somewhere else. read more

On August 6, 2016, following a visual site inspection of the facilities, my husband and I rented a 10'x20' storage unit at Round Rock Mini Storage's Clark Street location. At this location, there is a prominent camera and a sign indicating that there is a camera. Two days later, we were notified of a break-in, to several of the units. We also learned that the camera is not attached, a violation of their contract [making] "NO REPRESENTATION OF SAFETY OR SECURITY [to] HAVE BEEN MADE TO TENANT BY LESSOR OR LESSOR'S AGENTS," per page 2. Due to a breech of contract, we contacted the office in writing requesting a refund less insurance and have received no response to date. We are in contact with our credit card company now to dispute the charge. Caveat emptor. read more

Have had a unit here for a few months and everything has gone great. I had a unit at the Waterspark location on Mopac. The people at the desk were knowledgeable and everything went smoothly. It's the cheapest option I could find and in a pretty desirable and convenient area. It's not anything fancy, but there's security gates and I was never worried about the safety of my belongings. read more

I rent a boat storage from this place which was severely damaged at this place when I notified the lady the works there she was very unhelpful rude and had a difficult time getting the number I need to file a formal complaint. She basically acted like it was our fault. The advertise 24 cameras not true only at gate did she offer to investigate N . I will be filing a formal complaint and will contact this company for damages due to me. I should have park the boat on a busy street if would have been safer. She doesn't own the place just a worker bee who should be FIRED for incompetence. I will be seeking a lawyer immediately. Consumers be aware your stuff is not safe there. read more

I would not recommend this company/ property to anyone. In fact, the property is so unsafe no one is there to manage it. I had to drive about 17 miles north to another property to sign storage unit contract (one year contract). I am very disappointed in my belongings getting water damaged from the flow of water into my storage unit. I did call management regarding this matter and the suggestion was to get a palette to sit my belongings on to avoid future water damage. So, now I am supposed to find a palette to avoid my belongings being damaged. When in fact, if the storage unit was sealed from outside water or etc... This would not be an issue. Again, I am disappointed and very upset. Now, I have any issue of not receiving a full refund and Round Rock Mini Storage is at fault for offering an unsuitable storage unit. read more

I rented this storage unit for a short time and I absolutely loved the staff and the location!!!! The staff made me feel like a valued customer and very welcomed anytime I came to visit and had questions. The unit itself was clean and was more than enough room for my storage needs.
