I do not like to stack negative reviews on companies and my father already posted a review, but their actions were not just directed at my father and he left some items out. 1). The install crew broke a water pipe, text us a picture that it was broken, only to have the owner deny that his company broke it in the first place. 2). My dad (Dwayne Allen - he left a google review), who originally recommended them to me wrote a review with his issues. They responded by saying it was on him and he got a "huge discount". This was not a huge discount, they believed the square footage to be almost double what they actually did, but took no notes and had no records. The field worker called and had to ask my father after they submitted an invoice what the size was to calculate the square footage. This invoice did not provide a discount to fix the water pipe either, and Pablo and his crew never offered to get it fixed. Leaving me to do it. 3). Then someone from this company (I believe Pablo) went onto my companies Facebook page and wrote a retaliation review (my company was not even involved in this transaction and most of the information was so inflammatory that it violated Facebooks policy and was removed). I see that they have good reviews and had they handled the situation differently, I may have seen these few items as a mistake, and used them in the future. However, their actions have shown me they are not a good business and I will never use them or recommend them. I will not use them and do not recommend them!

Our rep didn't think through the job and asked the day of install about our baseboards then claimed it was a "client change" to the job. I didn't think of the baseboard situation as I don't do this for a living. There sales rep did not do enough due diligence guiding us through our vision. The wood floor itself is great and high quality but the rest was a nightmare. Don't have them do anything other than flooring - their light construction and painting is honestly incompetent and terrible. Lastly, new carpet for our family room. They upsold us a super plush pad then failed to write it up correctly. When I asked why the pad was not correct (after install) they acted like I'm a carpet pad expert and I ordered the blah blah blah 8 pound something or other. They were wrong, got it wrong, I opted not to PAY to fix it so I'll live with it, I guess. Overall, terrible experience but it could be the rep I got. Totally uncoordinated and a lack of communication for what we needed for this project. Very disappointed since we used Soleil as a referral from a friend.

I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.

Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. With his experience and knowledge, it increase my kitchen countertop's functionality and usage area. I can't thank him enough for that. U Granites & Cabinets are high quality. If you are not familiar with that market, you will get lost - just like me walking into Home Depot to look at those prebuilt countertop and vanity. I like the cabinet's materials, how it built (those features I probably didn't really think about before). I started with the kitchen cabinets and countertops, extended to the bathroom's vanities . I am very happy about the decision, and much more appreciative what Amy, Victor and other staffs at U Granites & Cabinets More has provided. Victor did a huge favor to me by doing all kind of other jobs along the kitchen remodeling. I tell you, that's another level experience and knowledge from him about house remodeling and how to have those done correctly, effectively and cost-efficiently. Cost wise, I gave you my example. I hired a general contractor who quoted me $14K for all demolition (kitchen and tiles) only. My total cost with U granite (Kitchen countertop, cabinets and demolition) is less than that number. Lance helped me pick a couple of quartzite…read moreremnants for bathroom countertops and the fabricators took just as much care with them as if I had been buying whole slabs. The installers were particularly good and dealt with my quirky hall bathroom vanity with the odd angled corner very well and got it all to fit perfectly! They were also fine with my using a non standard little oval sink to fit that space. I decided to keep my Santa Cecilia kitchen granite instead of replacing so that I could do the bathrooms and they did a great job of fixing the chips, reconditioning it, and making the cooktop hole a little larger so that it would fit my new cooktop. I am now looking at re-doing my fireplace with them because they just do such good work at a fair price.

I used the website Countertop smart.com, so I was able to insert measurements, get an estimate, and choose an installer easily. Perfect Countertops had good reviews, a good price for installation and a two-week installation date which fit my schedule. Though I am very happy with the finished project, I was frustrated with communication with Elier and delays. The countertops were demo'd on one day, countertops installed the next day and the matching backsplash was installed 7 days later - which delayed installation of the cooktop and faucet. (And increased my anxiety as I had a dinner party scheduled the next day! I never heard the reason for the weeklong delay.) The installation was complete 5 weeks after measurements, not the 2 weeks planned when I scheduled it. So as with all construction projects, allow plenty of time for completion. I would recommend Perfect Countertops if your schedule is flexible.

I asked if he could quote me on a few other colors I had found online that were also Level 1. He first told me I would need to call his suppliers to locate it but the next day he told me he would look into it and get me a quote. After a week of not hearing anything I called one of his vendors that has every color in stock. I texted Elier and let him know but I have been ignored. I owned a glass company in Austin for over 15 years and I am proud to say I NEVER mistreated a potential customer. If I told you I would call you back in 2 days, I called you back in 2 days if not sooner. What happened to good CUSTOMER SERVICE?
