I highly recommend David . In December 2025, I discovered a significant drainage issue with my shower, necessitating its complete demolition and reconstruction. I received multiple quotes from various contractors and ultimately chose David Ortiz. During the initial estimate meeting, David Ortiz demonstrated exceptional flexibility and accommodating nature, accommodating my schedule outside of typical business hours. Later that day, I received a highly reasonable estimate with a detailed and transparent breakdown. The breakdown was comprehensive, dividing the shower project into eight distinct parts, each with its respective material and labor costs. Additionally, the estimate was transparent, providing a breakdown of tile work labor costs per square foot multiplied by the square footage. I was particularly impressed by the upfront, transparent, and reasonable nature of the initial estimate, which saved my time from unnecessary negotiations. (As an introverted person, i hate haggling). Another factor that made me proceed with David was his very compact team. Knowing that I am paying the actual remodel works without any cut into marketing overhead was a significant advantage. As the work progressed, David Ortiz provided detailed progress updates and timely communication. Unexpected works outside the initial scope arose, such as damage caused by the initial drainage problem. David Ortiz made reasonable suggestions and provided quotes at fair prices and addressed them quickly. I am thoroughly satisfied with David Ortiz's work and would highly recommend him for any household remodel projects. In fact, I subsequently hired him for a minor renovation to a walk-in closet. During this subsequent work, an unexpected situation arose on my side, necessitating the completion of the project sooner than initially requested. David & Cretia remodeled two bathrooms in my house and did an absolutely amazing job! They are so professional and genuinely cared about making my vision come to life. Not only are they both incredibly detail oriented and precise in their work, they are such honest, good people - it was a joy to have them around during the renovation. After seeing what a beautiful job they did with the bathrooms, my children hired them to do work around their homes, too. Though they're an in-demand duo, I would highly recommend waiting for them to be available (...I am back on the waitlist!). Trust me, they are worth the wait. **In one of the bathrooms he took down a wall to the closet in an adjacent bedroom so that we could extend the bathroom and make it bigger. Many of the positive reviews state David and "his brother" did the work. His brother Mike quit, ask him why. His workers are new and not skilled. And as one other reviewer indicated, my experience was with poor workmanship, lies, and unprofessional and threatening behavior. I will seek legal resolution because I tried to work through Better Business Bureau but he refused to engage or respond after taking $17K, completing NONE of the work even after I gave him 7 weeks on a job that he quoted would take 7-10 days! Beware of his contracts as well. He was proud that his contract didn't state a time commitment, even though I have it from him in a text. Also, his "Friday draws" for money when no work is done was used as a threat. Pay up or he walks. In the end, he walked off the job anyway so I just kept paying money for 7 weeks getting nothing in return. Check out BBB before you hire. read more

David & Cretia are THE best! We had them create a patio sanctuary for us and ended up adding a few extra changes along the way. They perfectly made our vision come to life and we could not be happier with the result, just in time to enjoy the spring weather! They are so talented and pay such close attention to detail, not to mention they are a joy to be around and are extremely reliable, trustworthy and kind people. They created a new deck, covered patio, added new siding and fresh paint and completely renovated window panels into floor to ceiling sliding glass back doors. They also closed up our old back door seamlessly. As mentioned before, this project was a dream come true and we are SO thankful. I highly recommend David Ortiz Remodeling Services for any job you may have for your home! They are extremely efficient and have great attention to detail. We hired them to install 12×24 tile throughout our entire home and they did a fantastic job! We have 3 dogs that were in the home while they did their work. They were so kind and even let our dogs outside when we were away! At the end of everyday, they cleaned up after themselves, thoroughly. David and his crew showed up to replace old, cracked siding on one side of my house. They quickly discovered that there had never been any insulation in the walls. They meticulously measured everything, put in insulation, and new siding, which wasn't easy to match to my old siding, but David's artistry made it nearly impossible to differentiate a difference between the old siding color and the new siding. As the old siding had several different colors embedded in it, matching it was a very difficult thing to do! Very highly recommended!!! read more

I would have rated David higher if I could have. We needed to have my father's tub replaced with a walk-in shower. We investigated a number of popular options that we're very pricey with materials that seemed to be a mismatch for our home. Based on a co-worker recommendation, we went with David. I had David Ortiz work on my home in Dallas,TX. He completely took down all the shower walls in both hall Baths and in my master bed room. Rebuild it and tiled with 18 x18 tile and my master with 20x20 tile. the job look s great! no DUST cleaned up very good and left my home Beautiful. Thanks David you guys are good at what you do.
