Planned 2 hours at Round Two Bowling Alley (Peosta, IA) for my twins' 7th birthday...ended up 5 hours of bowling, food & arcade madness . First time bowling with my boys -- heavy balls, gutter bumpers & a dino ramp to guide the rolls. Giovanni wandered into other lanes , Sebastian tried speed-bowling like it was the Olympics, and Benjamin just wanted snacks . Hit their restaurant/sports bar (bright & loud but my kids handled it like champs): Shot Tower Pasta Kids cheeseburger + chicken strips w/ shoestring fries Fried ice cream Sopapilla dessert (fried dough with cinnamon & honey heaven) Shoutout to Ablyn, our rockstar server, for smiling through our chaos . A few things to consider before you dine here. - Extremely loud, its a bowling alley, and the night I was there, they had Trivia going on at the same time. You could barely hear yourself think. - Service was s l o w. More attention to patrons at the bar. Guess that is where the money is made. - Food. Had pizza and it was disappointing. Two pieces and then boxed up the rest and threw it away on the way home. Crust was awful...the toppings tasted like they had lived past their expiration date. Upset stomach confirms this. Absolutely no flavor. Will not be back, thank goodness just passing through town. Another note, just in case the owner(s) read this. The building has no architectural appeal. Did they have a sale on the ugliest color of paint? Looks like the other businesses got the memo, nice brick buildings. Would not recommend the pizza, and by the look of the dirty tables, I would say that there appeared to be many menu items that were equally LESS desirable. Its always good to end on a positive note, so kudos to the city as you have a cute town that appears to be growing!!! read more

The food was wonderful as ever. The fries were served hot and with a healthy portion. Coleslaw was of course delivered cold even on a warm plate. The chicken was broastef just like grandmas. The service was spectacular by Adilyn. She was quick on her feet and made us all feel welcome with a big smile. She made the time to make us all feel appreciated in our way. To be fair David is now a personal friend. He of course was so welcoming we can't wait to dine there again. The atmosphere was thrilling from college football to sports. The bowling is a little too loud for my taste but they fixed it in a nice way. There is even an arcade for children if you have some, bring them. This is the place Peosta didn't know it needed! The bowling alley, arcades, party room, large bar and dining space, outdoor dining, and sand volleyball.....truly all ages can enjoy. Round Two brings our community together. Food and drinks are good too! read more

We attend weekly on Wednesday for Trivia with Bob. Love the fun, even if we don't place and the food is always good and the wait staff is excellent! Highly recommend. read more

Facility is clean, bowling alleys are fun, the arcade is pretty inexpensive. The bar is large, plenty of room in the restaurant. Food and kitchen always takes a while, but there are plenty of TVs and things to keep your party entertained. read more

Pizza, pasta, salads, and down home, good cooking. I had the hot roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. It was so good, and I even took some home! We were there for lunch, on a week day, and they had a buffet, with a salad bar! I'm going to try that next! Good service, and a full bar! I have been here a handful of times and the food and service is always great. The pizza or meatball sandwich are my go-tos. If you enjoy Shot Tower Inn food from Dubuque, it is the same menu with a few additions, like a lunch buffet during the week and Friday fish and Shrimp specials. Huge bar with a good choice of craft beers on tap, lots of TVs, bowling and an arcade. If you are worried about noise, don't be, you can't hear the pin strikes in the bowling area. Round Two has FABULOUS atmosphere, food, service, variety and is VERY family friendly! The location is great! It's right off Highway 20 in Peosta. The prices are very affordable. Their pizza is delicious. Wonderful ownership and wonderful managers. It is spotlessly clean! Every time we have visited, the owners have been there. We've never had bad food OR service. The building is totally accessible, well lit and beautifully maintained. There are no stairs to get into the building and everything is on one level. The parking lot is expansive, they have the highest quality bowling equipment, great prices for bowling and they have SO many staff members that you are never kept waiting for anything! Whether dining inside or getting food to go, it's always fresh and ready to go. They have an incredible game section for kids and all kinds of vending machines that are cashless. You choose whatever amount you want on a gift card type machine. Stephen, the owners and the staff could not be more accommodating and they even helped me get a stuffed bear in the claw machine for our old dog at home! I was SO happy. I knew if I tried doing it myself, I'd be there a week. They go above and beyond to help customers. For some reason our senior dog loves the fabric that those specific stuffies are made with. The fact that they were even willing to help me with this was amazing! You'll never be sorry for visiting Round Two in Peosta. They appreciate the business and even care about your pets! I'm a Dubuquer who lives in Minnesota, I came to the restaurant hearing it was shot tower pizza. It was the worst experience at a Dubuque restaurant. The food was awful, the service was awful. The owner was terrible. Apparently he has no customer service experience. We complained that our pizza was made wrong and the waitress was afraid to tell the manager so we kept the pizza. But after paying our bill we talked to the owner about the screwed up pizza. He basically accused us of being wrong about how the pizza should be made, saying they put peppers in there beef pizza and not acknowledging the rest of the ingredients we're also wrong. He ended up calling the police on us for complaining. Everyone in the restaurant was shocked at his behavior. I would definitely not recommend this establishment, just because of the way the owner can't except that he or his staff made a mistake. I would totally recommend you go to Town Clock pizza to have the good food and experience. read more
