We did a team bonding dinner and evening at Round 1, while competing in a soccer tournament in Lancaster. The place is huge to start with. It is like a Dave and Buster's in steroids. $35 got each got our kids bowling, games (non-ticket accumulating), bowling, karaoke, pizza, wings, and drinks. The kids had a blast and there was a bar area for the parents I only have two small gripes 1. Adults were told they were not able to put food orders in based on the number of people there that night -This was resolved by me and some of the other parents eating in the mall food court 2. Ohio State and Indiana were playing in the 2025 Big Ten Championship. Bull Durham was on the TV at the bar. -In defense I did not ask to have the game put on Next time we are back in Lancaster, I will make this a stop. read more

I don't dish out very many 1 star reviews, but this was one of the worst experiences I have had at an establishment. There seemed to be very little regard for COVID. There was no one at the door, a sad bottle of hand sanitizer, and then chaos. There was very little social distancing, but people did have on masks. I visited with a couple of little people. So there were limited games that we could play that were appropriate in height, skill, and working. Almost every game we approached was out of order. There were so many people, no social distancing, and not enough hand sanitizing stations. I would not return. My child found some loose screws on a game that was out of order. I swiped on one game and guess what it was not working. At this point I was over it and didn't even care about the refund. I just wanted to leave. read more

I just LOVE Round 1 arcades! We have been to quite a few of them. From Oregon, Washington, Reno and now Lancaster. This one did not have any down or broken arcade games that I saw! It was clean and had some really cool games. I do dislike that they keep changing things up with their "rewards" now the only way to get them is to reload your card on the app but you don't get the extra tokens that way but still such a great fun place. This one has a big playground type thing for the kiddos! read more

My family and I took a 40-ish minute drive solely for the arcade experience, and we weren't disappointed. There was so much to do! There was an abundance of claw machines as well as casino style coin drops. My one daughter was thrilled with the Skee-ball and Basketball games, while my other was thrilled with the Halo and ticket games. The noise level was typical for this type of establishment. With the lights and noise level, those who are sensitive to these elements should avoid this because it is easy to become overstimulated. We had not tried any menu items, though it appeared to be typical American bowling alley type food (hamburgers, pizza, fries, etc). Prices appeared reasonable. The cashier at the counter where we purchased our card credits was both courteous and efficient. She was both pleasant and helpful. The games were all in working order, sans one ball drop style game in a far corner. The facility was clean and well organized with similar games grouped together. I have to be honest, I was pumped to come to this mega arcade for the Japanese claw machines and we left spending a lot of money and not many prizes. We have been hitting up claw machines in small stores in Chinatown in both NY and Philadelphia and have been winning for an investment of $5-20 which I think is reasonable. This we invested $75, and got one large, one medium and two small plush to show for it. I just would have expected more bang for your buck. I watched all the tips and tricks too so knew how to strategize and this is what we ended up with. Some of the arcade games looked very fun though pricey, so we stuck to the claw machines we came for. I don't know if we will be back. read more

We went in for bowling. They advertised $10.99pp unlimited bowling for the time that we were there. We asked for that, and originally were rung up for over $32 for two people. The employee also seemed to be muttering stuff under his breath/mask. Not a great start. Once we got that sorted out, we had fun bowling. The alleys were clean, and we saw employees cleaning balls, lanes and even seats between customers. There are different games you can play, and it was fun to mix things up a bit. Even though it was supposed to be unlimited bowling, they kept setting us on a one hour timer. It messed up our game scores. There's a little alarm that goes off if you step over the line, but it was so sensitive it would go off in neighboring lanes just from the vibration of the ball hitting the ground. My family and I had an incredible time celebrating my sons birthday at Round 1. We spent six hours total at the Spo-Cha with the unlimited pass and there was never a dull moment. The staff was incredibly attentive. The food was fantastic, and the variety of options was surprising. There was literally something for everybody to enjoy from arcade, games, sports activities, giant, trampolines, and bull riding, we were really able to have a fantastic time altogether as a family from the oldest to the youngest. I would highly recommend anyone looking to just go have a great family time or even on a date. I can't wait to go back. read more

I am not going to lie, I love going to the Arcades and when I found out a new Round 1 was opening in the area I knew a road trip was in my future. For those of you that do not know Round 1 is a Japanese style arcade, lots of claw machines and arcade games. They also have bowling, billiards, photo booths, and party rooms here. Think much larger Dave and Busters game room. They also have a small bar and snack bar area. The other thing Round 1 is known for is the prize selection. The claw machines have prizes you will not find at any other Arcades in the area, think Japanese licensed plush and prizes like that. The prize rom is also very nice and well stocked with quality prizes. This location has a Spo-Cha section, it is a timed all you can play section of games and activities, they have a bunch of stuff like Basketball, mini bowling, a mechanical bull, some arcade games, and stuff like that. In my opinion this is the best of the 3 Round 1 in the general area, the one in downtown Philadelphia is nice but a pain to get to. The one on Exton has some of the worst employees and parking I have ever seen. Everyone here was nice and friendly, everything was clean and there was plenty of parking. The biggest down side to this location is that because of the Spo-Cha there is a little less of all the other stuff than the other locations. But had I not been to the other locations this would have been the biggest Arcade I was ever too. The other problem with Round 1 is how expensive it is. Spo-Cha cost $19 per person for 90min, that can add up quick if you bring a bunch of kids. The games and other stuff is also expensive. Because of the expense that moves Round 1 from Friday night out to special treat. Overall a great place to come for a one of a kind arcade experience, with unique prizes that you can't find in other arcades in the area, just bring plenty of cash. read more

This company clearly doesn't care about customer service, just read review after review and they don't reply or provide really any phone or email address. You can now add me to the list of people who will not return. We checked it out on Wednesday, April 21st, we got there at approx 6:30pm and started to play games with our 5 year old son. As we made our way around the huge place, I noticed (right at 7pm), that the hired "security" guard (contracted by R1) was lowering the gate to the mall. As we had parked clear on the otherside of the massive mall, and it was raining AND unseasonably cold out (about 40°), we quickly approached her about leaving through the mall to get to our car. She made it very clear "she couldn't" allow us, and she made it clear she didn't really care. I found two ladies with ear pieces who were working on a change machine, and I asked if they were managers, and they said yes. I quickly appealed to them about our situation (mind you it was about 7:02pm now, and apparently the mall closed at 7, but there were many people still walking the corridors), and they seemed to be bothered by my plea for my five year old as well, and couldn't really even be bothered to look away from their activity. I then found another male manager behind the bar, and he too said there was nothing he could do. He DID apologize, as he said they should've made an announcement over PA, but they lost track of time and didn't. Oh... But that didn't really help me, did it? Again, I was greeted with indifference, and told there was nothing that could've been done. So I had to walk around a heavy trafficked building, in TERRIBLE weather conditions, down the side of a hill with no sidewalk with a 5 year old, because of someone's mistake? And it's silly that there was "nothing that could be done"... A.) The first lady could've just let us out at 7:01 when there was plenty of people still in the mall B.) An employee could've easily escorted us through the mall, if it was such a "risk" C.) I'm sure they have a phone number for "Mall Security", and someone could've easily got us cleared to walk through to our car I'm sure... But no one did that, and no one wanted to (I assume). Instead, total and utter indifference to the risk and displeasure of an innocent child in this scenario. Wow, you guys are real heros. I bet the first time you make someone walk around the building, and they get hurt or worse (God forbid), and their lawyers reach out, they will suddenly care about this oversight in procedure. Never getting another penny from me, and I urge you all to do the same for such a scummy company. PS - When we got to our car at approx 7:25pm, there were still people using the entrance by Kohls to enter the mall!!! So if it was such a security risk, why were the doors not locked? Wanted to try the new place in town. I should have listened to the other reviews before visiting. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! My wife and I took our kids to Spo Cha which is as bad as it's name. 6 of the activities not working. Batting cages broken, kid area under construction, trampolines closed for new springs ( the place is 2 months old???) pocket bikes closed and even the bad mitten had broken rackets. After 10 minutes we went back for a refund and had to argue for it. As the consumer I was told I was supposed to know that I could go through the gates and walk around to see everything before I pay. I should have also known that they had an inspection going on that had an impact on it as well. Really??? All this for $80 bucks??? NOPE! Skip this place and Go TO SKY ZONE! read more

Unbelievably expensive for no reason. You want to play games go to timeline in York where it's byob and you pay 10/hr or 25 for all night way better. Not only was it disgustingly expensive. The bar was a mess there was one person on who was unbelievably slow and horrible. Underpoured everything and when drinks are this expensive I'd prefer to get the correct amount. Good variety of arcade games and too many claw machines, IMO. The place was clean, I didn't notice many of the problems other people seem to have had. I wish there were more classic American cabinets and less prize machines and kiosks. Think Ms Pac Man, Donkey Kong, etc. I'll go back but not as often as I would if I had some more classic consoles. I am aware that they have seated cabinets, but the sound quality on those are 1/10th as good as the IN YOUR FACE sounds of the 70's 80's and 90's arcade cabinets. read more

Pros: So many things for kids to do here in the Spocha area. We did the 180 minutes and they played the whole time. Mini bowling, arcade, soccer court, basketball, volleyball, pool, jungle gym, skating, etc. Ages 10-14 boys. Very clean facility. We went during the week and almost had the place to ourselves. Cons: Expensive. It was around $250 for 7 kids and 2 adults for 180 minutes on a weekday. Unfortunately, if kids are under 18 then an adult has to pay as well to enter. Only 4 kids allowed per adult. There are areas in Spocha that require an attendant to supervise so I don't understand why an adult has to pay to supervise as well. Also, we were allowed to bring our cake in for my son's birthday but they did not allow us to open our drinks. So we waited to leave and then let the boys have their drinks. Also, they do not list their pricing online which is very odd for any business like this. Oh the adults need to bring an ID to show them. My husband had to go out to the car to get his. I think it would be nice if they put all this information on their website. Otherwise you will have to call them to get pricing and information. read more

YOU CANNOT USE GAME CARDS FROM OTHER ROUND1 LOCATIONS! We visited the new Round1 in the Park City Mall recently, and overall, we were pretty disappointed. Sure, if you wanted to go for the Spo-Cha complex, I'm sure this is a great place, if you come once the pandemic is over and they've actually opened up all of the facilities. And if you've never been to another Round1, you'll have an okay time here. There are a decent number of UFO prize machines, and an okay mix of arcade machines, but this location really suffers from the attached Spo-Cha complex. The Park City Mall Round1 prioritizes the Spo-Cha complex so much that it takes up about 3/4 of the entire space. There are less arcade machines, and this is obviously a problem, because Round1 is known for being an arcade! They offer classic arcade games, but also Japanese exclusive arcade cabinets, including hard to find Japanese rhythm games. While the Park City location has arcade games, they have significantly less than the Exton location, in my opinion. During a quick walkthrough, I did at least spot my favourite rhythm game, Project DIVA Future Tone, and plenty of Dance games, but there were some other arcade games that I didn't see during my walkthrough that I normally play at the Exton location. There are a good number of UFO prize machines, but I felt that the Park City location has too many of the small 'American-style' Claw Machine games, and less of the big UFO prize machines. Also, a lot of the prizes in the smaller claw machines were not worth it, including an entire machine crammed full of Animal Crossing Reese Amiibos from 2015 that aren't worth anything. I do believe the UFO prize machines were less credits per play than the Exton location, at least, but a lot of the prizes were very similar, or used the 'take the lid of the box' method of winning, which I don't prefer. The prize room was a little bit bigger than the prize room at the Exton location, but I felt the prize selection was severely lacking. There weren't many plushes available, and only a handful of worthwhile items, like Nendoroid figures or Splatoon 2 Weapon Collection blind boxes. The standard Rilakkuma item section was also there. There were a lot of your standard garbage prizes though, including American candy and snacks, t-shirts, mugs, etc. I didn't see anything that I felt was worth spending tickets on, personally. The main drawback to the Park City location, however: YOU CANNOT USE A GAME CARD FROM ANOTHER LOCATION. Since I've visited the Round1 in Exton many times over the years since it's arrival, I had a game card already, with game credits and tickets on it. I approached the card kiosk to check my card and swiped. ...nothing. I swiped again. ...nothing. I swiped backwards, and forwards, and upside down, and nearly every speed I could try. The machine never responded at all. Finally, I approached the counter where you purchase a new card, and explained that the machine wasn't reading my card. The employee (who was very nice and helpful, at least!) looked at my card and said "Yeah, that's a card from the Exton location, and our location uses a different system, so you can't use that card here." I asked if there was a way to transfer to one of their cards, but they just said that if I had a Club Card (paid membership card) they -MIGHT- be able to transfer my credits and tickets, but there was nothing they could do about the regular card. I think it's absolutely ridiculous that they opened a new location and cut off every other customer who had already been loyal to Round1 by using a new card system and offering no way of going between the two. I live almost exactly between both the Park City and Exton locations, so I was pretty excited to have a second option to consider! But once I discovered that the cards don't work between the two, I instantly knew that I'd never come back to the Park City location. The Spo-Cha complex taking up so much of the space for one was a drawback right from the start, but the cards not working at both locations was the swift fatal blow. I'm not going to spend money on two cards, and have two stacks of tickets that I can't combine for one location if I wanted to use them all at once. No thanks. For me, I'll stick to the Exton location. read more

First off a couple things to know is this place is its a japanese style arcade so there are a lot of claw machines. Also they have many games brought here from japan that you wont really see elsewhere. Now as far as the staff issue other reviewers are complaining about i cant really say that is round 1 fault as im seeing the shortage of staff at most places in our current economy. And for the staff they do have they are always helpful and friendly and willing to fix a machine if you are having a issue with it at least in my experience. They do offer bowling and pool tables as well and ive played both. Pool tables are quality and bowling is great however understand tables and lanes are limited so if u have to wait for one to open up just play in the arcade while u wait. As far as planning your trip out understand the round 1 is open later then the mall like kohls so once the mall closes the gates come down and u can no longer leave through the mall and have to exit directly to the parking lot. So maybe park at round one so when you leave if thats the last place youll be you don't have to walk far to your car. I see plenty of one star reviews left for this place and honestly most seem to be user error. Do your homework if you don't care for japanese style arcade or cant wait for tables or lanes to open up then call ahead and check the wait and go from there. I cant understand after going there probably 15x since they opened and not having a single bad experience why people go once and complain over one bad thing and now they wont be back. Thats fine by me id rather have fun at a karren free arcade anyway but keep your one star karren comments to yourself because i can say that i will return and it will get better staffed as the economy bounces back and more people go back to work. Also the staff they currently have in my opinion is doing a great job with customer service and have always helped me right away with no attitude. Finally i have not been to other round one locations but i prefer this style arcade over dave and busters but i will say the bar and restaurant in dave and buster is far bigger so if that's important to you then keep that in mind. It's pretty cool! They have tons of arcade cabinets. The only place I've been to with more was in Las Vegas. Then again, I've only ever been to south-central PA and Las Vegas. One problem is that this place is LOUD. Speakers are often blown out, crackling and popping, and the classic arcade section in the back are so loud it made my ears sore. My friend could feel his ears pounding after playing back there. From anywhere in the arcade, you have to yell next to your friends in order to hear them. I really wish they'd just turn everything down instead of turning everything up. There is a large section of claw games, which is lame because they're all rigged. I don't know why people look forward to claw games when they know full-well that they actively work against you. The arcade in the So-Po-Cha or whatever hippie name it's called is lame, but it's made up for with the physical activities you can do. I liked mini-bowling the most! Some of the staff were very nice, some weren't as nice. I don't blame them, they all probably have permanent hearing loss from the sheer volume. Worst place to take a kid ever basically nothing for them to do bowling is super broken we had tried to take a 4 yr old bc she loves bowling and has to use ramp every time we put the ramp to the line it would buzz saying it was a foul. After 5 mins and a 4 yrs screaming it's not fair we tried to leave and get refund and was give arcade game cards that were limited to the time we had left bowling and limited to only games that lit up green! Every game was too tall or to unreachable for our 4 ur to play when I went back up to desk to ask for refund was told that half my time was spent already and they can't so after telling them everything that happened the still didn't wanna give me refund so had to start getting loud because of wasting 2 hrs to take her here and have her disappointed on her birthday worst place for kids and adults WASTE OF TIME!!!! You will stand in line for 30+ minutes for a beer and then you have to stand in another line for food or a drink for your child for another 45+ minutes. You have to be 18 to play basketball, otherwise you need someone to supervise you. And that person has to pay the same amount to stand there and watch them play basketball. Went to go play pool and they said it was a 50 minute wait and there were 3 open pool tables, and then after questioning they realized they messed up. I had a bad week and this place made Up for it. The staff was so helpful on the phone, answering my questions and then when we got there they were so amazing too. The staff was so friendly from the security guard at the entrance to the workers behind the desk. Made me smile and laugh and feel like a little kid again. Went to the bar to browse the drafts while two workers stood at the end of the bar never acknowledging us. Let us browse the taps, then when we wanted to order were told bar wasn't open! It was 2:50. I was hoping to make this a food review but due to poor service I am unable to do that. This is an 80s arcade on some serious steroids. An entire amusement park for the senses. All your favorite arcade games only better. But be prepared to drop $$$. I realize the quality of food can't be more than 2 stars (it is what it is) but service should more than make up for it. So I walk up to the bar and ask for a menu, one of the two bartenders point to a menu and goes back to his conversation with the other bartender. I walk over and pick up the menu, look at one side flip it over only drinks listed. Frustrated I look up at the tvs above the "food" area only to watch tv programming. No food listed anywhere, no display of a menu, nothing about food, other than the obvious kitchen and kitchen staff standing around. Do they serve food or is it just for looks? From the other reviews I read there is serious lack in the ambition to sell food. The manager may respond saying it is difficult to find employees but 4-5 people standing around behind the bar and food service area says different. In a place like this if people are hungry and you don't provide sustenance they will leave to find it and most likely not return. The idea of having food and drinks in the middle of a place like this is to keep your guests engaged, keep them in house or you lose them thereby losing revenue. This place has so much potential it's scary. Don't lose that. read more
