Zembie's is just what I was looking for! Awesome atmosphere and great people. The drinks were great and wings were amazing! I'm here from FL for work and was looking for a old bar with personality and Zembie's delivered!

Finally got the chance to try the food here. My friend and I stopped for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar. Menu is big... had some good choices. I settled on the open faced tuna melt with coleslaw and my friend had a chicken pesto wrap with onion rings. Mine came out with French fries instead of coleslaw. No big deal. We both thought the food was...meh. The wheat bread the tuna melt came on was very soggy and the tuna tasted fishy....more fishy than any other tuna melt I've ever had. I ate half cuz I hate to waste, but that was about all I could get down. My friend said the chicken in her wrap was dry. Sadly we wouldn't eat here again. Service was good--the bartender was very attentive.

Medium chicken wings and the appetizer sampler

Stopped in on St. Patty's day for lunch and to watch the early college basketball games. I found an empty table I found a seat in the bar area and was greeted shortly after. I ordered a drink then pursued the very vast menu. Within 10 minutes of arriving, I placed my order : 10 hot wings and the appetizer sampler (2 chicken tenders, 2 potato skins and 2 mozzarella sticks). Although told by the bartender the sampler usually comes out quickly, the wings came out first and were piping hot. They were good although definitely not hot... either a string mild or weak medium. The sampler came out a few minutes after. Everything in the sample was good, but not great. Overall, had three beers, 10 wings and the sampler for $30... a good start to the day!

When I say every screen, I think they have about 30 televisions surround the entire interior of the building as well as what looks like how Hockey games have the scoreboard around the center, that's how it is their with the televisions. Trivia is every Wednesday at 7PM. It's a pretty good time honestly. There's a guy named Juan that runs it. He has good style, he is a classy individual and a very intelligent man. Do not use your cell phone or he will exclude you from the game. His rules, not mine... understandably some of the questions are hard but it is what it is. As for the food, it's amazing no matter what I get. From the Loaded Nachos to the Reuben to the Mozzarella Sticks, PB Burger, Fried Pickle Spears, and their Brownie Sundaes... Simply amazing! Every bite makes you want another. The waitresses their are attentive, communicative, responsive, they have jokes and are very polite and respectful. It's a place you can take your Mother.

Everything about this screams, Irish speakeasy! As an appetizer, we ordered sausage, fried deviled…read moreeggs, which were surprisingly amazing with a honey mustard type of a sauce for dipping. My partner ordered fish and chips, which came out to be a huge piece of white fish, lightly battered and a generous portion of french fries, since Saint Paddy's day had passed. I ordered bangers and mash which again was amazing!. Sorry, no pictures this time.

The cocktails alone are worth the visit. The bartenders really know their craft, and the alcohol selection, including local beers, is solid. My only real issue is brunch. Every time I've visited after 12 p.m. (brunch is served until 2 p.m.), there's been a problem--either they're no longer taking food orders, the kitchen is backed up with a 45-minute wait, or they've simply run out of food. It comes off unprofessional and could definitely be handled better. I've noticed this becoming a growing trend during brunch service in general, and while some people suggest arriving as early as 10 a.m. for the best experience, consistency matters. If you're offering brunch, you should be properly staffed and prepared to serve guests throughout the full service window. Period. It's especially frustrating when you've traveled specifically to experience their culinary offerings and hit a wall like that. Overall, if you're looking for a spot that feels like a New York-style dive bar with elevated drinks and solid food--if you catch it at the right time--this place delivers. Just plan strategically if brunch is your goal.

For the second time ever, I visited a brewery after already knowing about its beers. (The first…read morebeing Flying Fish, R.I.P.) But this place is much more than beer, and I can't recommend it enough. First, there is a bar completely separate from the eating area, so you can choose what experience you want. Second, I've known that all their beers are top notch, which is why I wanted to come here. I'm not an IPA guy, but the black IPA is some top notch stuff that anyone can appreciate. Not super hoppy, really well balanced. Blonde stout is another superb creation, Lancaster gets some depth into it that many other breweries can't manage. Third, if you want food, they learned from the Food Network and limited their menu to just a few choices, all excellently prepared. I ordered the Angry Mac with gator meat. It had excellent flavor, they made it spicier like I asked, and unlike most places they provided plenty of meat. Great quantity and great taste that I wasn't expecting. I tasted my friend's polenta and it was perfectly balanced with some cheese, not too salty. I could eat that for days. Finally, Eva, our waitress? Wonderful. My friend and I were weighing dessert, we wanted a brownie but not the whole hot fudge brownie sundae. Eva made it work and even split it between heated and cold. What a great server. Props to Eva! To get this quality of food, this quality of beer, this quality of service, and this quality of ambiance all in one? No wonder my friend was willing to go two days in a row. I need a Lancaster Brewing in my town.

Holy crap. I had not been in this location since it was the Alpine Inn and wow...times have changed…read morefor the better. Horn Pub features a big bar and equally large dining areas. My companion and I didn't sample the menu, but everyone around us was eating and clearly enjoying their meals and the dining spaces were FULL on an early Friday evening. To ne, that speaks volumes. For what appears to be a "divey" bar from the outside, Horn has a pretty solid list of drafts, cans, and bottles. My companion is a wine drinker but found a pinot grigio that suited her. Service was fast and friendly at the bar, and tge crowd (definitely local and regular) was also super friendly. Give Horn Pub a try! It's a.great reminder of what a good local spot can be.
