The pricing was very reasonable and the cleaners arrived on time and were courteous. However, the service we received was not to my satisfaction. While the carpets certainly did LOOK better, the smell of cat urine was WORSE. A cursory internet search will tell you NOT to use steam cleaners on cat pee, because the heat from the steam actually causes the proteins in the urine to bind permanently to the synthetic carpet fibers. Shame on us for not doing that research prior to contacting Baltimore Steam Cleaners... But you would think professional carpet cleaners, who advertise "Pet Solutions," would know better. Unfortunately, our only option at this point is to rip up the carpets. Also, they said they would take care of moving the furniture, but less than half of the furniture was actually moved. The rest they cleaned around. I would have been happy to move things out of those rooms ahead of time, but we were assured that they would take care of it.

It wasn't until the summer when the weather got warmer that I noticed a dog smell throughout my townhome. Unfortunately I'm renting and the landlords weren't willing to replace the carpet until after I renewed my license. Since I really like the place and the only major issue at the time was the carpet smell, I agreed. So until then I needed to get the carpets deep cleaned to remove the smell or at least lessen it. I contacted Gary's Carpet cleaning company and they quoted me a really good price for my three story townhome. I had 4 bedrooms, a large living room, a family room, two sets of stairs deep cleaned. He was very professional, on time and even showed us how dirty the carpets were. I wish I had a before and after but again this is a late review, and I didn't think to take pictures at the time. But he really helped us out, I was able to get through two summers without having to smell the last tenants pet. Covid hit so it took a little longer before I got new carpeting put in. I really appreciate his business and will be using them again in the near future for maintenance on my new carpet.
