They all did incredibly well. Really delicious tomatoes - Lyda Ukraine, I think? - and the peppers were surprisingly pretty. The flowering plants all came back again this spring and are looking great. Highly recommend this nursery for plants suited to growing in the central Pennsylvania area. And at excellent prices, too. Definitely headed back this spring to pick up some more tomatoes and maybe bleeding hearts.

I have been to 3 bridal stores in the Hbg area so far and this place was horrible. Upon arrival, we were ignored and not greeted at all. Finally, we were taken back to the bridal room but not before we were told to remove our shoes. I explained that my Mom couldn't remove hers because of a walking disability and was told "oh well she still can't come in!" Now, we're potentially going to spend close to 2k on a dress but we can't walk on your dirty pink shag carpet??? Ridiculous. Determined to make the most of this, I take my shoes off and go into the bridal room to look at the dresses. Not many ballgowns but I found 4 to try on. Next I'm put into a dressing room, alone. I'm supposed to put these gowns on by myself. Every other bridal salon has the salesperson help you because 1. The dresses are heavy, bulky and hard to put on. And 2. They don't want you to rip and tear them. Not this store! You're on your own inside a tiny room. Thankfully, I'm able to get into the first dress and come out. Dress after dress, I struggled to get into them..hair getting caught in hooks and on rhinestones. At one point, I come out and there is a strange man standing there..and the back of my gown is open because I'm unable to lace it up myself! The final nail in the coffin was when the salesperson said "have you tried on any dresses with corsets? They're good for big girls like you.. plus you're so short". Big girls! No, I'm not a small size 2 bride but I fit into most of the dresses! I was in tears and couldn't wait to leave. My Mom could see how upset I was and she took her shoes off and limped in to help me with the last dress. Utter bullshit. I wanted to support a small business rather than a chain but this was horrible. I am so glad it wasn't my first bridal dress shopping trip because it would have devastated me. I am so angry at how we were treated.
