Hamburger with a 1/2 order of fries.
    Cherelle B.

Food was home style, diner goodness. Fresh cut fries were the star; the hamburger was crispy and delicious. Service was a little slow as it's a small place. Dairy free hamburger buns, staff was helpful with my dairy allergy. Definitely would go back again!

    This is their philosophy!

This is a unique spot - they describe themselves as "Homemade burgers & fries! Furniture Barn too ... We buy, sell & consign. New & Old Finds for You and Your Home - Something for Everyone!" And, the restaurant is located inside The Shop Automotive and Tire. Seriously something for everyone! It is open Monday through Friday only 7:30 - 6:30 for breakfast and lunch. They use local meats from a processing company down the road (Homestead Meats in Delta). They use fresh beef and locally made sausages. Everything is built to order (toppings are free and there is quite a list!). Besides burgers, hotdogs, and sausages, they make a Portobello mushroom sandwich, a grilled cheese and a BLT. You can also get a salad and you can add chili and cheese to your dog. But - cutting to the chase - POTATOES! They make amazing fries - fresh cut!! Fried in peanut oil. And, if you are looking for something unique - RIBBON FRIES. Like potato chips, curly fries and the best french fry had a love child. You can get them loaded - but they are so good plain. You can enjoy the real potato taste and they are sprinkled with some very tasty seasoning. Gotta do it. Breakfast menu looks good - and you can build and guild your breakfast choice from a large list of toppings. PS - prices and service are stellar! Check their Facebook page - they don't have a website. https://www.facebook.com/ROUTE-65-Burgers-Fries-Antiques-Gifts-Furniture-1113545002004449/

Delicious Hamburger with free toppings!!! Side is fried pickles!

My husband and I stopped for a Navajo Taco, unfortunately they were sold out :( but we tried the burgers and ribbon fries and fried pickle!! It was beyond delicious! We pass by this place thousands of times but finally stopped and we will definitely stop again!!

Love having a burger joint with HOMEMADE fries in our tiny little country town. Great food and great service.

The burger and fries were very good. Almost drove past it as it is in the same building as tire shop.

The restaurant-side was unfortunately closed, but the bar was open. They happened to be serving BBQ this weekend. The BBQ hit the spot. It wasn't the best, but it was good enough to hit the spot. I got the Strawberry Lemonade Clarified Punch, which was refreshing and surprisingly really sophisticated - I was expecting such a sophisticated drink in a random bar in a small town (unincorporated). Drinks were a little pricier, but I think it was still worth it. Definitely recommend popping by if you need a quick drink and grub.

Surprisingly large inside with one side dedicated to the bar and the other side the more traditional restaurant-style. Good variety of beer and cocktails. Was surprised they even had a cider on tap, which is usually hit or miss when I go to a bar. Since it was "experimental," they only charged $3 for it. Loved the creativity behind their cocktails - their Strawberry Banana Clarified Punch was both smooth and tasty. It is a smaller serving - glass came half full including the ice - but probably because the normal mixers are infused in the tequila. They had a very limited food menu while we were there. They were serving BBQ, and you had the option of pulled pork or sausage. A couple different side options. Nothing special about the food - it was enjoyable and at reasonable prices. Wouldn't make a special trip back for the food but would gladly order it if I was already there. Staff were so pleasant. Parking was super easy - spots in front as well as a dirt lot across the street. Overall, enjoyable time. Recommend you stop by for some good drinks!

Lucky for me, looking for a brunch spot before wine tasting tour of the area, we found Clark & Co's Distillery. One of the first images that came up, when looking it up was their Bloody Mary, and we were sold! Came in as they were opening so got our pick of where to sit. They have table, and a long bar-style area looking the water. That's where we decided to sit. Peaceful view, distillery dog welcoming everyone that came in, loved it! Put in our order, we decided to share it as, it looked like a full meal, and glad we did. It came with the most delicious roasted peppers I've had in a while (could have eaten more of those), beef sliders, mac n cheese bites, olives, bacon, and okra. The Bloody Mary was really good too, spicy enough to give you that kick, and salty as it should be. And the faces of everyone seeing it come out, plus the pictures we were able to take of it were just the best. I can check that off my list of "To Dos" now and recommend everyone giving it a try. As we thought we got full with that, but looking at other people's food, everything looked great. One done, we went inside and looked at some merch, plus got to buy some of their distillery gin, and take some pictures with their beautiful peach blossoms. Great place to relax, and enjoy good food and drinks with friendly service, and a friendly (host) dog.

My mother raved about how great the relatively new Lost Mesa Grill is and we decided to stop by on our way out of town. I'm vegan due to health reasons and eating out is always a chore for me. We were quite thrilled to see there were several vegan options on their rather extensive menu. We opted for the mushroom, black bean and corn tacos with a side of refried beans. The ingredients were fresh and absolutely delicious! Other items on the menu looked delicious as well, ranging from comfort food such as chicken fried steak to ribeyes to a southwest steak salad or roasted beet salad. (Marinated tofu could be substituted for meat.) Brandon, our server, was wonderful, and being a fellow vegan, he had great recommendations. And to top it off, the owner had a box of vegetable from his overflowing garden free for the taking! This restaurant is a fabulous little gem for any community, much less such a small town and it easily meets the dietary needs of all clientele. (They even have gluten free buns for their burgers.) If you're going through Cedaredge or even if you want to make a detour off Hwy 50, you'll be happy you stopped at the Lost Mesa Grill for a fabulous meal!

My 6'5" husband asked politely for a larger table. The waitress gave us a heavy sigh, swooped up the menus, and walked over to a larger table, dropped the menus on the table and walked away! We ALMOST left! Took 35 minutes to get our food. Food (hamburger and fries) was ridiculously expensive considering they weren't all that tasty. Between rude staff, over inflated prices, and very average food, we won't be back!
