There is plenty of paved parking here and we had to stop for a 30 min break so we thought we'd go in and check out the Dairy Queen inside. The travel stop is good sized. They still want you to mask up and stay 6' apart from one another. The bathroom had a sign up that read 6 occupancy at a time. Obviously, no one was reading it because it stayed populated. Toilet paper on the floor, unflushed stools and the sink counter was wet with drippings of soap. I passed the showers and laundry coming back out into the store again. There's a lot to look at. We found some cute rugs and gorgeous jewelry. We walked into the Dairy Queen, there's a plastic sheet protector between us and maybe that's why she couldn't hear us too well. I had a salad and asked for extra ranch and she said,"One ranch, okay" then moved to my husband he ordered a bacon cheeseburger she asked if he wanted bacon and cheese on it lol ( of course YES) he also got fries and a large chocolate shake. The cooks in the back handed him a hot fudge sundae. He handed it right back showing our receipt and they corrected it. When our food arrived we checked it while my husband was asking for extra ranch which would cost $1.07 ea. I told them we didn't need it they'd sent 2 big pouches of ranch which was plenty. We did need a spoon for the shake and she got one from the back that wasn't covered in plastic wrap. She had also put our money into the register with no gloves...where's the safety protocol? Absolutely horrible men's bathroom. Too bad there wasn't a Love's nearby. Ok for gas but skip the restrooms and use the ones at the casino instead. read more

Except for the ride employees I guess it is not such a bad place. It is a connivence store and has whet I needed. The was a man cleaning the restrooms yelling for customers to get out which was not what I would think would happen. Price for gas is higher since it is in the middle of nowhere. read more

The drink selection is complete and endless, as are the road tripping foods available. Not a ton of gas pumps here, but enough. My only complaints is the bathrooms which were sort of dirty and small. read more

A small gas station, gets the job done. Nothing made it stand out but I did like the variety of souvenirs they had available. It is across from a casino so theres that. Easy to access to and from the highway so that was good. I used the bathroom and filled up on gas but that's about it. Once again I feel bucees need to go on the ball and build along I-40! TONS of semi parking! I bet it never gets full, skip Albuquerque's chain truck stops and come here! Food, souvenirs, showers, the casino- all geared toward giving truckers bargain prices! There is also an RV park w a dog park across the street by the casino, and a shuttle will carry you across the street if you are too lazy to walk. It's a busy place, so sometimes the lines are long, but they process everyone rapidly and really well, excellent customer service. There were so many racist reviews on Trucker Path regarding this place rest assured, all the negativity is slanderously untrue. Staff is friendly, place is immaculately clean, I'm SO glad I tried this place out & you should too! read more

I'm fully vaccinated and still have to wear a mask to enter, wouldn't recommend stopping here as I've been driving the entire country and this is the first stop I've made that has required me to wear a mask, even though i have been vaccinated since January. Plenty of space for truck drivers. Dont forget your mask or u will get yelled at.. i saw them yell at a guy w my own eyes. Very unnecessary and rude to humiliate a customer ladies. Bad for business. I mean why have plexiglass if u need a mask. And my hands still touch items. DQ is advertised as open ..NOPE. and there's a paper sign That says it closes at 8pm. The second I walked in the lady shoved a mask on me face, and VERY rude. The diesel fuel is sky high! The people coming is were so much nicer than the staff. We spent money in there only because we needed fuel. Will not stop at another on EVER! Too bad people are so angry and bitter here, but why not? When a place doesn't accept ebt they put a sign on the door. Just write on a sheet of paper then tape it to the door. They didn't do this. They have it printed out real small on the card machines so by the time you have your items and go up there you don't even know. So it's just this thing of 'crap, do I put everything back? Do I say never mind and just leave? Seems rude. Or do I pay with it the only money I have on me even though it was meant for gas? I haven't eaten all day. I'm not sure.' I ended up putting everything back in there spots since I felt bad about just leaving it somewhere. All the cashiers look angry. When they gave me my change back I put the coins in my pocket and the person looked frustrated, just tossed the dollars towards me. Didn't offer a bag either. Could've at least said they didn't have any more if that was the case. All in all. It's considerate to put up a sign on the door or in the window where people can see that you don't accept ebt. I pulled in to get DEF and each and first several pumps that I pulled into was out of order the cashiers were so lazy they gave no care to alert truckers not to pull into that Lane and you have to go all the way out and come back around, walk all the way into their travel center through their maze of flooded walkways and get back in line! it took almost an hour to finally find a pump that had def in it. The bathrooms were an absolute dump, the employees were unhelpful and lazy as they get. I will never stop at this place ever again and I travel all the time through here. read more

Negative star review for the totally rude employee that treated my hard working trucker hubby like trash.This place is a joke. I go into take a shower oh you need to wait tell 6 am. Ok I get it they under staff. So I wait tell 6 am they say we can get you in a shower now. Ok cool .... I go up to pay it's 5.75 but you have to have a 20 dollar deposit. Ok put it on my card. Oh you need to use a ATM to pull 20 dollars it's only cash.. Ok stupid. But I go to get cash out.. I do my card info and it don't work all the ATM is saying is transfer can't pull cash out.. I get told I'm doing it wrong so they come over and check to see if it and they say you sure you can pull money out. I'm not broke at all fyi so a very angry lady says we have no control over the ATM and I can leave I wasn't being a butt but I will spend my hard earned. MONEY else were I will never do business here and I will not get my fuel here either. THEY HAVE BAD ATTITUDE AND IT IS WRONG. Very rude rent-a-cop at the door who will yell at you if you are following CDC guidelines and not wearing a mask. He says, "You can't come in with out a mask because the sign says so." Hmm, ok. Stopped because our dog was overheating and needed gas and water. Security got within 1 foot of us, literally right up on our bodies and shoved their hands in our face with a mask. Almost hit my roommate in the face. Made a comment about new CDC information and they didn't care and said well their rest stop requires it no matter what. Multiple people tried to come in without masks and security got in their face hands and all. I understand safety, if the individual wants to still wear it then fine but if people don't following the CDC update and report about vaccine toxin that's getting in the bloodstream then don't almost assault them at the door. If someone wants to wear there mask still then fine, if someone doesn't then also fine. They are making their own medical choices that are beat for their families. Will never stop here again on my trips and will reccomend to traveling friends not to stop here either. The sheer rudeness of the staff about masks was uncalled for. The worst customer service ever here!! Megan was Extremely rude when I asked her if I could use the microwave that she had blocked while she was filling creamer. She has an attitude.
