I cannot recommend Route One Cinema Pub enough. I haven't been in many years but it's exactly the same if not better. An evening movie admission runs you $10 they accept cash or credit. The theaters are quite spacious, modern, and each table can seat four customers. They offer a vast menu of food and spirits , and the staff are incredibly friendly and prompt. It's worth the trip especially for a rare movie that isn't being showcased at the larger nearby cinemas. read more

Honestly this is me and my guy's favorite date spot. We get to sit nice and close to each other and have some yummy food and drinks while enjoying a movie. We've been there a number of times, but most recently went this past weekend. It was a Saturday night and though there were a decent amount of people there, there were plenty of open tables. Pretty much anywhere you sit, you have a good view of the screen. Overall the inside is a little dated, but that doesn't bother me as far a movie theaters go. The movies are second run movies, but new to me. I never really pay attention to when a movie is coming out, so if you need to see something the first week it hits the theaters, you might have to wait a little or go to a different place. Tickets were $10 per person. We've sampled different menu items there and everything has been pretty yummy. The last time I was there I got a side Greek salad and split buffalo wings. Wings were delish and the salad was really big for a side salad...and it was only $2.75! All of their food is reasonably priced, which can be hard to find these days. We also got two pitchers of Wormtown IPA, which were $20 each. Overall the bill was $70, which I didn't think was too bad for two meals and 2 pitchers. Just a heads up the that sign is not lit, so it is a little hard to find at night time. That's what Waze is for right? Lol! Totally excellent experience! Initially, I was a little nervous because the concept isn't what I am used to and the cinema didn't seem too glamorous but my wife urged me to give it a shot. Before the movie, I met the chef in the men's room and I was really impressed by his attitude, work ethic, cleanliness and his obvious dedication to customer satisfaction. During the movie, the food service and attention was excellent and the food was delicious. I'd definitely recommend Route 1 Cinema & Pub and I'd give it 2 thumbs up! read more

This is such a laid back place and I love how you can actually eat real meals there. My husband enjoys the 1/4 lb hamburger with their awesome curly fries. I enjoy their grilled chicken salad - its HUGE. Their potato skins make a great app as well, but you can even get the curly fries as an option for an app- and they give you generous amounts! You can get a pitcher of beer or glass of wine which I prefer instead, and the best part is ... the tickets are only 7.00! Now sometimes they are showing a movie that might be a month old, so if you prefer- just wait for the newer movies to arrive there. I like the pizza here a lot and the fact that they have a little older movies that you may have missed the first time Around but I must say I enjoyed this place better years ago and this is why. The price for the movie is high especially when I know I'm going to be spending money on food. Maybe they do it because they think people will come for the movie and not buy anything? But these same movies play at the 3 dollar theater in east prov so people can go do that there. I think 5 dollars for the movie would be better. Or maybe have some money towards dinner like that place in foxboro. You used to be able to come early and eat your food or Atleast start to eat before the movie. But now you can't come very early and the food comes out during the movie which leads to awkward dark eating and trying to quietly open and move things so not everyone notices. It also leads to the door opening a billion times, letting in light to the theater which is annoying. They should time the movies so I can Atleast start eating my food before the movie. In all I only come here when There's a movie I really want to see. I would come more often or maybe to see a movie I've already seen if they decreased the ticket price and let me come a bit earlier to eat. read more

This place was so adorable, it's like a Lux Level movie theater for kids. It was $6 for each movie ticket and in the theater room, there are tons of tables and chairs. The fun part for adults and kids are you can order food and alcohol during the movie. We had a pitcher of beer and I had a carbonara pizza while the kids mostly ordered chicken fingers. They had quite an extensive selection of food too. They had wine options as well. If you have kids, this place is great. read more

So happy to see them re-opened. I see some reviews complaining about the $8 ticket price? Compare this to the similar experience at de lux at Pats Place...$30 tickets, expensive food etc. Seating is comfortable and conducive for interacting with each other. Food is still inexpensive and was always good but quality seems better. We had salads with nicely cooked grilled chicken, large popcorn for $6.50, pitcher of wormtown beer $20. Fine the movies are not from the initial release wave but who cares. Great place to go with friends, family or a date. read more

Long time customer of this establishment. Have enjoyed countless movies and great dining experiences. Great wait staff, good prices, and a nice night out. That said, the staffing has definitely grown thin, fewer people to wait on you, and the movies just simply have to get better and more timely. Post pandemic, I can't justify spending a good chunk of dollars on second or even third run movies that have been out awhile, many already gone to streaming. Or movies that have flopped due to terrible reviews. I want to support this place badly, but the formula needs to change. read more

I had a blast having dinner and watching a movie at Cinema Pub with a group of 6 family members. It's totally worth the trip to North Attleboro. Tickets to a movie are $6, and though the movies available are second run, they're still movies that were very recently in theaters. Seating is available 30 minutes before the movie begins. You're seated at a table, with chairs that swivel so you can easily eat and watch the movie. Then there's the cool part that you can order food and it will be brought to you during the movie. All 6 of my group order different meals and we liked them all. The nacho appetizer was delicious too! The prices are very reasonable and I'm already planning to head back with friends for a double date night. read more

I was admittedly pleasantly surprised by this place. Upon driving up with my daughter, it looked a bit shady and it was unclear where to park. From the outside, it was hard to believe there was a cinema in the building and even my 6 year old daughter had some key comments about the place. It didn't look open but we finally ended up following another couple who was walking in who had kids. The front lobby still didn't look like a movie theater but we ordered our tickets and walked into the cinema. When I walked into the theater, I realized that it was such a nice one! Everything was clean and new and impressive. Service was great and the food was great (I got the bruschetta grilled pizza and my daughter got the hot dog and fries). They had a great beer selection and overall a vast menu for such a small place. While the movie was a few months old, the quality of the screen was fantastic and the prices were solid. Most people go out for dinner, drinks, and a movie. Route One Cinema Pub combines all of these activities into one wonderful reasonably priced experience. Cinema Pub shows 2nd run movies for the low price of $6 a movie ($8 for 3D) in one of their 2 theaters. Once inside the theater you select your table and seat. The seats are comfortable rolling chairs and then a waitress comes over and takes your food and drink order. They have a wide range of appetizers, sandwiches, your traditional movie staples such as candy and popcorn, and a decent beer and wine selection. The food is great. We got the calamari for an app and then we each got a burger and fries. The calamari was unexpectedly awesome and the burgers were juicy and flavorful. Just an FYI I ordered mine medium rare and it was actually medium rare so be ready for a perfectly cooked burger. We also got a couple of drinks. Just like the movie the food and drinks were very reasonably priced. Similar to what you would pay in a normal pub. The picture and sound quality of the movie were comparable to a standard movie cinema. The only drawback is that the waitresses have to walk by and whisper to take and deliver orders but it is barely noticeable. They also have some awesome specials. Monday and Tuesdays are 2 for 1 ticket night and then Wednesdays is date night. You get 2 tickets, 2 entrees, and a pitcher of beer or bottle or wine for $30!!! I really liked the atmosphere, it is an excellent date spot that wont break the bank. Every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectation. I would recommend showing up 15-20 minutes before your movie starts so you can get a good seat and place your order before the movie starts. What better way to watch a movie than eating and enjoying a few adult beverages? I cant think of many. I will definitely be back!! read more

I was hoping to see a movie but couldn't watch anything to well because all the chairs are the same height and you can't see the screen. This place is such a unique theater experience - and they also have adult beverages which is awesome. Their potato skins are a must! Curly fries are great too. Cinema Pub is exactly what you hope for when these two worlds collide. Upscale by no means, Cinema Pub offers second-run features, typical (though very tasty) fried bar-type food, and fairly plain decor. You choose your table, and a server will take your order before the movie begins, and usually 2-3 more times throughout a 90 minute film. The servers were all very pleasant each time I went, and are very careful not to distract from the movie. What makes cinema pub perfect is the low prices, including a 2-for-1 on tickets on Mondays and Tuesdays. The food prices range from $4.50 for a generous portion of delicious popcorn, to $8-$10 for entrees. In fact, there isn't a food item on the regular menu over $10. If you don't feel like watching a movie, they also offer take-out. The Cinema Pub also includes a few surprises, including an occasionally-changing specials menu, featuring somewhat fancier dishes such as buffalo calamari and veal parmesan pizza. The drink menu isn't particularly extensive, but there are options. 4 choices of draft beers run $4-5 for a 16oz. cup or $13-16 for a pitcher. There are about a dozen bottled options for about the same price. The half-dozen wine options won't impress a finer diner but are reasonably priced, starting at $18/bottle. The tables are spaced out enough so that other customers won't be blocking your view. The atmosphere is a bit more casual than a normal theater, and talking/texting are common occurences, though not terribly distracting, again due to the table spacing. If you're looking for a cheap night out, I can't think of a better idea than Cinema Pub. read more

Took me about ten years to finally come to this place and I regret not having come sooner. The movie screen quality was quite sharp and sized just about right for the "theater" size. Also the sound system was decent. Not sure why I wasn't drawn here more since they serve beer while watching a movie. One of life's simple combinatorial pleasures. I didn't get any food but I'm guessing it's pretty good since they have a take out menu from a cinema. Who has take out from a cinema?? I will definitely come back to watch a movie on comfy chairs with a standard draft beer (aka, bud light, miller, blue moon). Dinner and a movie all at the same time! I don't understand why there aren't more places like this--it just makes sense. I love getting a pitcher of beer and some yummy eats while I watch a movie, and unlike some places like this that I've been to in the past, the food is actually really good. A couple things to know before partaking in your first Cinema Pub experience: 1. I assumed, because other cinema restaurants I've been to stressed this, that you get there early so you can be sure to order before the movie. Cinema Pub does not quite operate like that, and we ended up hanging out in the lobby with the teen employees for about 15 minutes before our movie. 2. Do come hungry. The menu is nothing to sniff at, and there are a lot of things I still have on my list to try. Everything I've had so far has been quite tasty. 3. Don't go see a movie that you need to pay a lot of attention to. The lights are dimmed, but it's not dark (so their servers can see where they're going), so you're more aware of movement around you than you otherwise would be, and it's easy to get distracted. Also, the server comes back during the movie to bring your food, get refills, etc. If you're watching something really intense, this will just not work. My only complaint about Cinema Pub is that a lot of their movies start at 6pm. This is obviously so that they can have an 8:30 movie as well, but it's really annoying to me because that usually means that I can't go see certain movies at all unless I leave work early. I'm sure that's not an issue for many people, but it would be nice if they staggered the times a bit instead of only showing Flight at 6:15 and Argo at 8:30, for instance. I love this place. I find the seating (round tables with great barrel style chairs on wheels) comfortable and I like that I can be served beer and food while I watch a movie. The prices are very reasonable! If you don't want to eat here, then I suggest eating at Quan's Kitchen which is in the same parking lot. Great food there. read more

We had a nice time at the Cinema Pub last night. I've been to the one in Falmouth and Attleboro's is a little nicer on two important counts: seating and food options. The menu has lots of special, which are a nice touch. My fish sandwich hit the spot, because I was craving something in that heavy-fried genre, but they also have a nice salad menu and lots of fish options to boot, for non-meat eaters like us. The salads are very generous and I look forward to ordering one in the future. Even though we arrived just after the movie had started and sat near the back, we had a nice view of the screen, and our waitress came by often to check on us. The only thing is that you have normal chairs so you have to change your angle from your table. But, the fact that you have a table is great. The wait staff does a great job of making sure you're all set during the movie. So it's not distracting, but you don't have to leave to get things you want. Another bonus! Although I haven't been here in several years - my one and only experience was pleasant enough that I've tried several times to get back here, although every time I have plans to go; they seem to fall through. IThe cost is $6 per person to watch a movie with plenty of seating; it's like a regular cinema, except without stadium seating, it's all on flat ground. Lots and lots of tables and chairs to get cozy. There is a decent sized menu with a bit of everything to eat: snacks like popcorn, candy, etc. to appetizers like fries, nachos and wings to salads and main courses like burgers and subs. You can even order a beer or a glass of wine. One would think that because the price per ticket to watch a movie is so cheap (compared to $12 at a regular movie theatre) that the food would be expensive; but it's not! The most expensive item on the menu is $10! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for something fun and different; great place for a date! read more

Not really that great compared to other places. Mainly just chips covered with cheese sauce and some chili. Too bad, because nachos are pretty easy to make really good. Kids had chicken finger plates. Decent sized portions, good amt of chicken and fries. I had a fried chicken sandwich which was good, but the roll was a tad past it's prime, just a bit on the stale side. In the past, the meals have always been better than expected. What a fun little place this is! When you are in the mood for a low key dinner and a show with friends this is the perfect stop. Comfortable chairs are set up around tables that all give you a perfect view of the movie screen. The movie tickets are much cheaper than Showcase and the movies they show have normally been in the theaters for awhile so this is great if there is either a movie you missed when it was first released or something you loved enough to see again the big screen. They normally play two movies and rotate new ones in every few weeks. Here is the twist instead of having to eat before your movie or going to eat after Cinema Pub provides you the luxury of dining while you view your film of choice. The menu has a good selection of "Pub like" foods which are enjoyable. The service is friendly and prompt. I have never seen this place too busy so it is really relaxing and enjoyable. I've been here many times and I still love going! It's a small theater with a very nice "pub grub" menu as well as your regular movie theater snacks. The best part for me is that you can get a cheap pitcher of beer and some of their amazing buffalo chicken egg rolls and enjoy the movie in what is typically a quieter and more comfortable setting than the big theaters! The place to go for 2nd run movies on the cheap. You can have a great date night here or save some money on bringing the whole family. The food menu is really big (in my opinion) and the food is actually quite good for a cinema. We ordered fried mac & cheese bites, potato skins and a burger. The servings are generous! We were so full after eating everything. My husband loved having a half pitcher of Seadog beer for himself too. He saw someone else get a pizza and now he wants that the next time we come. As far as the actual cinema goes, it was very clean and the chairs were actually comfortable. The screen quality was good and the servers were quick and efficient with orders. I would suggest coming a bit early so you can grab a good table. We didn't and had to sit on the side and it was hard for me to see at times because I had to turn around and maneuver around the next person's head to see the screen. I went into the cinema pub with low expectations. I figured movie food cant be great. Well i ended up pretty impressed, the lobby and atmosphere leaves a little to be desired but the experience of this place was really great. We ordered a pitcher of beer, a bacon pizza and nachos. Everything was brought out quickly and was really good. I was impressed! When I compare it to the LUX levels of theaters that I love so much i found that Cinema Pub met a lot of traits that the lux level met. - I like space between myself and other movie goers and this provides that. I also like having a server bring food and booze during the movie. This is the prime reason I go to LUX level and cinema pub provided both of those - for a fraction of the price, and frankly with better food. I will say because they don't black the lights out completely so servers can see where they are going it can get a little distracting but that's a fair trade in my mind for getting taken care of during the movie. Outstanding! Saw The grinch with my 8 yr old. Last min decision to grab a movie and just drove there from Framingham. Totally thought it was a "regular " movie theater until on sight. I did no research. And was completely taken back by the experience.
