My dog went to to the vet and stayed for two days, they called and updated me both days on how my little trooper doing. Now my dog is recovering and doing great! They are completely thorough with your pet exams and explain everything in detail - I never feel like I'm unsure of what's going on or feel like they didn't do enough (which I have other places). They have wonderful bedside manner with my dogs... and me. Their staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, they are also willing to work with long term clients as far as payments, should you be in a bind - which I have been. They also will suggest a decent home/over the counter remedy if possible, before I run my dog in and they've always been on point and saved me some money. Plus their prices are considerably more affordable than any vet in Athens. Even their prescription meds are considerably cheaper than online pet med carriers. My eldest dog who is 15 has been suffering from some chronic allergies that have plagued him for years. Other vets had me spinning my wheels and spending money on special tests and exams that were unnecessary. I brought my pup in there and they came up with a complete game plan to help him. Dr. Mosher even called me at 7 pm one night to make sure that I understood the plan and came up with something cost effective for me. It has worked wonders. He's bright, healthy, and happy now. Years ago, I was dog sitting for a friend who was out of the country and her dog came down with a horrible ear infection. Dr. Nemitz sent my friend a detailed email with information about what was going on with her dog (as she had limited access to a phone) and gave her his personal cell phone should she have questions. They really care and it shows. I can't tell you how grateful I am to have such a wonderful team of experts helping my little dogs - who are my everything.

They recommended going somewhere for a higher level of care so I took her from Conyers to Dr. Smith at Athens Regional who came highly recommended. I cannot speak highly enough about the care she received. Dr. Smith thoroughly examined her and gave me all of my options but also advised on what he would do which was actually the most cost-effective treatment as well. He could have easily had me do expensive treatments that ultimately may not have provided any better long-term outcome. Me and my dog are now home and the road to recovery will take some time but I am ever so grateful to Dr. Smith and his staff for his honesty, compassion and expertise.

Staff and vet were very nice and sweet to our dog. They looked at his mouth and confirmed the need for surgery. They gave us an estimate of the charges and we moved forward.
