We left my Golden Retriever puppy with them for a week during our vacation and she got so much love while we were gone. Everyone was phenomenal from our initial contact with Stephanie who was most informative and helpful, to our vet student Riley, and Dr Venier who performed the surgery. We could not be more pleased with the quality of care, knowledge and concern for our dog that everyone demonstrated. This was not an inexpensive procedure but UGA costs were very reasonable compared to other facilities.

Most of the ma's were kind and helpful but the last one we dealt with was a jerk and we quit going there after dealing with her hateful attitude. After months of chemo for our dog with highly aggressive lymphoma and atvleast $6000 in treatment there she had zero empathy or skill in bekng kind to me with our dog dying. I had waited all day for them to bring Samson out after letting them know I would be waiting and asked her if we could just get our bloodwork at our local vet and have the oral chemo shipped to us so we didn't have to go through this anymore with our dog waiting there all day. She got more agitated with every question and proceeded to tell me there were only 3 of them for 30 cancer patients. That is NOT MY PROBLEM if you are understaffed and treating more pets than you should be. My problem is my dying dog and you being an ugly jerk when asked simple questions. We previously were able to have our bloodwork done at our local vet and the chemo meds shipped for at home administration so for me to ask if this was an option shouldn't have been such a burden for her to handle. The resident vet on duty that day did nothing but take up for the rude vet tech and did nothing to try to comfort or reduce the friction I felt on that visit. If you want to be a number then go here. I recommend getting your vet to refer you to Woodlands Veterinary Referral instead of subjecting your pet to the stress of staying at a uga clinic for 6-8 hours each visit if time is on your side.

He's not only highly knowledgeable but also incredibly patient in explaining everything from diagnoses to treatment options. I always leave our appointments knowing I have made an informed decision. What I appreciate most is that he respects my choices as a pet owner, even when they differ from his recommendations. It shows me that Oak Grove truly puts my dog's well-being first, not just profit margins.

It's not that they make mistakes, it's that they blame and argue. They deflect their responsibility. They don't seem to understand they can be calm, polite, apologize, and move forward. I've been going to this vet for over five years, and periodically one of the staff would just be really unprofessional in their snark. For example, one staff member argued with me for about ten minutes about the age of my cat. Why? Why argue? It was SO ODD. I did not understand why this was the hill she wanted to die on. The receptionist kept insisting my cat was younger than she was. Over and over and over. THEN, I guess the receptionist finally decided to believe me, and she pivoted to insisting that *I'd* put down the wrong birthday, and that's why she had the wrong age. (ARGUE... then BLAME.) I went along with this theory in hopes we could just move forward in the conversation. But I guess the receptionist had a bone to pick and put me on hold to check the initial visit record. She was right fighting. It was needlessly exhausting. Turns out *they* entered the wrong info into their system. It was their mistake all along. So they wasted time, caused undue stress, and blamed the client rather than, say, calmly update the record and MOVE ON. Like a polite, rational person would. That's one of many, many examples. I'd never asked to speak to the manager before, I'd never called them out on their BS. But after YET ANOTHER MISTAKE, I finally asked to speak to the manager. I just wanted them to apologize and to get things rectified. But the manager didn't want to take responsibility. Their staff had dropped the ball, and the manager's attitude was, "well, IF that happened..." This was the proverbial last straw. It *did* happen. The staff member did drop the ball. I don't need to add gaslighting to snark and blame in these interactions. I wish they'd just apologize and MOVE ON. Just be professional. No need to deflect and argue because you made a mistake. If I were one of the veterinarians, I'd be MORTIFIED that my staff was acting this way. The care here is not fantastic enough for these draining interactions.

Last minute I called CAH to see if they could get us in and free my girl from pain - they did get us in. Not only did they get us in, they made us feel safe and cared about. Never once did I feel like we were unwelcome or an inconvenience. The kindness and care was genuine and sincere, a gift my girl, my daughter and myself needed desperately. I would highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital.

However people are quick to leave a bad review before leaving a good review. But I try to be neutral and so I gave the company an opportunity to service me. When I opened the door I was greeted and I was assistant really quick I got in and out in less than 10 minutes including paying for the service and receiving post surgical instruction. They called my once the surgery was completed and when I went to pick my cat up everything went smoothly. The results and recovery of the surgery went well. I have no complaints and would return and recommend.

That Saturday night at midnight when I realized that we could not let him continue to suffer, I emailed Paws to Wings. I was so afraid because I knew that it would be difficult to find someone who could help us on a holiday weekend. When I awoke on Sunday morning, Dr. Simon had already emailed me back, letting me know she would be happy to help us. She came that Sunday afternoon. It was one of the hardest things that our family had to do together, but she made Jack's passing so peaceful. She was so sympathetic to our family, both in her emails and when she came to put him to sleep. Our family will never forget her and are so thankful that she was able to help us so quickly. She even mailed us a sympathy card a few days later, which meant so much to us.

When we arrived our records were out on the desk and already reviewed. The staff took her immediately for examination and within 10 minutes they shared their findings from the exam and bloodwork. Turns out our baby had suffered a perforated hernia and was septic with her white blood count "off the charts". Dr Hope recommended immediate surgery. 3 hours later she called with the results which thankfully all went well. She showed as much genuine care and concern for our fur baby as we felt. I cannot say how grateful we are to Dr Hope and Hope Veteriarian Hospital.
