The ability to review hosts after the reservation is a nice touch, as it lets you see who has booked with them in the past as well if there are any issues. I used to board my dogs at a kennel, but because they have high anxiety and would rather be with people, I've since used DogVacay.com several times now and will continue to use them in the future. Not to mention, the price point is very competitive. I used to pay $40-$45 per dog, per night at a kennel. I've found dog sitters on DogVaycay.com that do it for $25 per dog. Win-win for everyone!

She always came home depressed and thinner as she wouldn't eat. This month we had to board her alone. (Rebar now lives out of state). Needless to say I was super anxious! But it turns out I had nothing to worry about! Peanuts Pampered Pet Care is phenomenal!! Not only did they take excellent care of her, she ate each day and came home happy! They take the time to send pics and vids each day reassuring me that she was getting fresh air, exercise and social interaction! She also informed us when it was warm in our home and that she had adjusted the thermostat for them (and to let her know if that wasn't okay ...which of course it was) One of the nights she told us there was thunder and lightening so she closed the blinds for the pups and turned on extra lights. I was totally impressed with every single thing she did while we were gone. My husband and I felt 100% confident that our babies were being taken care of and even spoiled. Well, we got home this evening to find a picture of our two babies in a picture frame...with an adorable personalized typed/printed welcome home card!!!! It told of what a great experience she had with them, what they were like while we were gone and she even asked that we let her know what the vet says when we take Barkley to the vet for his ear infection!!! OH and to make sure and let her know when we get home so she knows she isnt needed to come back again! While my husband and I were talking about how crazy amazing the card and picture was...we realized she had turned on music for them & put away all of there toys so they werent out everywhere when we came home! Can you say way above and beyond!!!??? For anyone out there that considers your pets a part of your family...your children...just like we do.... Kathy at Southern Paws is THE PERFECT CHOICE!! Mutts & Meows isn't just a health pet supply store, they also have grooming and self wash stations, toys, collars, and leashes for both dogs and cats. Our Shiba Inu has been feeling this TN heatwave and is having her coat blowout. I found Mutts & Meows online and decided to try out their self-serve wash with the Shed Happens package. Mutts & Meows allows walk-ins and we were immediately put into our own bathing room. It was super cute and it had a sliding door and window so employees can see that customers and dogs alike are doing okay while also having privacy from other customers. The bathtub was clean and ready for use. It had an apron, plenty of towels, blueberry facial, ear cleaner, a trash for the cotton balls and hair, and a bin for used towels. The water pressure and temperature were excellent! My only complaint (which is why I put 4 stars) is that the dryer isn't great. I'm a former dog groomer and I hate having a damp dog, let alone, I could barely blast any excess undercoat from her deshed treatment because of the low power. I had to go home and do a lot of brushing to finish the job, which normally, I could do a great deshed on our dog with minimal brushing as long as I had a powerful dryer. Overall, this was a very convenient self-wash and I do like that they use natural products. We treated our dog to some treats after her bath and I also bought a funny sticker, too. For $20, it was a good deal and I will come back for more washes.
