She looked like those abandoned dogs on YouTube who were only skin and bones. She was eating constantly but losing more weight almost daily. She was drinking gallons of water and could never get enough. She was blind the last 6 months. It was heartbreaking. We loved her so much and no matter what we tried, she just kept losing the battles in a war that couldn't be won. In the weeks before, I made 3 different calls to vets but my sweet husband wasn't ready to let her go. They walked every day and knew every neighbor in our area. On Feb. 27, he made an appointment at Lebanon Road Animal Hospital to come in the next day. We had never been there before. It was a rough day. The kindness of the vet and staff meant the world to us. We were welcomed as soon as we opened the door. Such respect and understanding is hard to find lately. Yesterday we received a card signed with notes from each one of them. We miss our Dolly so much, who had been wandering around a farm when she was found 5 years ago. She was the sweetest baby. I keep looking for her until I remember she is gone. If you want a Vet who comes in and shakes your hand and looks you in the eye on the hardest day of your life. A vet tech who was sitting on the floor with her after she was gone. An understanding Woman at the desk. Then you have found your vet. We are still looking for our Dolly in everything we do. She was underfoot all the time. Begging for anything she thought we were going to eat because she knew she would get a bite. But now she can run again and see again and play in the green pastures with Jesus. I thank these kind people with all of my heart.

He is one of the last standing doctors that truly are treating animals for the love of it. He's not in a fancy building, no fancy high tech equipment, no staff runs it all by himself. Short version: she's amazing with dogs and very quickly got my two out of control dogs under control. She's honorable, professional and provides great value. If you are considering retaining her, do it! Just look at the pictures of my happy dogs. That's all you need to know. Long version: I have worked with Noelle since about March and since that time have come to rely on her for all things dog related. I hired her initially for the intensive dog training, still rely on her for weekly training sessions, and have used her for "house sitting" the dogs when I travel. I recommend all three services as highly as you can recommend anything. Let me explain. On Super Bowl Sunday, 2014, I rescued two French Bulldogs and named them Zeus and Apollo. You may recall these are the names of the exceptionally well behaved Dobermans from Magnum PI. Well, my lads were far from that. They had been smuggled inform Russia and then detained at a farm in 29 Palms with dozens of other dogs. They were about 6 months old, had no potty training and were constantly fighting. They wouldn't sleep or go in their crates. They went to the bathroom in the house it seemed like every 15 minutes. They refused to walk on a leash. After a month, I was sleepless, frustrated and about to quit. Enter Noelle! Within 2 days, they were sleeping in their crates the entire night. They were on the path to be potty trained. She came in for an intensive program (6 hours per day for 10 days or so), but got the dogs under control so quickly that she didn't need to stay for the whole time. So, she graciously agreed to a longer term training program, which we continue to this day. Not only did she train the dogs, she helped me understand how to bring out the best in my dogs. She provided detailed instructions and helped me become a better dog manager. The dogs went from being neurotic monsters to two of the most friendly dogs you can imagine. They are incredibly friendly, great around kids and just love other dogs. They got us in, even though when we called they said they were booked until the next morning. We waited for about an hour in the waiting area out front, but we have zero complaints. They offered us drinks and asked questions about our trip. Every person working there was extremely kind. The doctor stayed in the room with us and talked about ticks and other dog care for a while after he had given us a new medication. It felt like they honestly cared about Monte, our dog, and his future health - not just immediate care.
