I don't understand how the Diocese of Bridgeport hasn't removed Chris and Scott from their positions in this school. As a former student at this school, I can honestly say that because of the fact I attended this school I am less equipped for the real world and feel that my family and I have been robbed of our hard earned money and of the education we were promised here. It's unfortunate that a school with a name like "Notre Dame" doesn't live up to the expectations a name like that comes with. With a vice principal who was forced to take an indefinite leave of absence from his previous job under suspicious circumstances, and a principal who cares about nothing but power and his own personal agenda, this school really could do better. To all the parents out there looking at high schools for your children, send them to Saint Joe's, Notre Dame West Haven, Lauralton Hall, Fairfield Prep, or just public school. Honestly, sending them anywhere is better than this school. Unless you want your children to be treated like they're nothing and disrespected in every way possible I urge you to find a better school. Bishop Caggiano, if you're reading this, I beg of you, remove Christopher Cipriano and put in his place someone who truly has the students faith and well-being in mind. Numerous sports offerings. So many other extracurricular activities are available to students from arts to science, coding, gaming, writing, social awareness activities, music, etc. etc. Teachers are the best of any school I have experienced and are very supportive. The Montessori Children's House may be Whitby's crown jewel - from the moment my children enrolled (at around 2 years old) their worlds expanded, as they were offered control of choices that as parents we don't consistently have time to give them at home.
