They charge like most other companies in the region 10% of rent and a little more for the first month.

I notified the management company immediately (early morning) and minutes before office closing, I was informed by the cooling company that they cannot come out for repair until Monday due to the management company's refusal to pay for what they consider "emergency repair". Well, I consider going the entire weekend without air an emergency! I contacted the management office and spoke with Claire who lacks any basic customer service skills. She began by telling me this is "standard procedure". Not once did she apologize for the inconvenience or offer any accommodations. After my initial shock of her tone and response, I shared that I expected a higher level of service. She then proceeded to yell and ask what did I mean. When I'm paying nearly 2,000 in rent, I told her at the bare minimum I expected an apology for the inconvenience. She continued with her apathetic response and still never offered an apology. From the very beginning, the house was unsatisfactory when we first showed up, issues with the property's condition made the move-in process stressful and required immediate attention that wasn't properly addressed. This was compounded by an ongoing dispute over unauthorized rent charges. They recently sent a text instructing me to pay the property owner/landlord directly instead of through their normal system. This came after unauthorized charges appeared, which I am now disputing. As an active-duty service member, I'm consulting with JAG at Fort Benning regarding SCRA protections and proper resolution, and I've had to take steps to stop any further improper bank processing. Communication has been inconsistent and unhelpful, leaving me feeling like they're more focused on collecting money than properly managing the property or supporting tenants. This experience has added unnecessary stress to an already busy life with work, family, and studies. I strongly recommend potential tenants do thorough research, inspect properties carefully before signing, and document everything.
