This orchard is 30+ mins from my place but my parents were in town so I decided it was a good excuse to show them a bit of Ohio on the way. The place looks tiny from the parking lot but it goes back for acres. The lady in the small produce market was very friendly and gave us directions to the apples that were ready to be picked, handed us a few bags, and we were on our way. I wish i knew that we could had driven back there since all we heard was 'it's a lovely walk.' It was a LONG but very nice walk. We passed a pear orchard, a nice small lake and a couple orchards before walking up a large hill to the far orchard where the corn and apples were waiting to be picked. Each bag she gave us was half a bushel and each (filled) is $10. If you dont fill a bag then it goes per pound. We got 2 bags of gala and cortland, and some pumpkin butter, and jams, and etc. This place has lots of stuff, not so cheap but worth it kind of stuff. $5.25 for a jar of blueberry jellies. We'll be back here for the many other fruits they have 'pick your own' for. The corn is also pick your own. They make their own products in the store too. I did not, however, see any cider. I have may been too early for that this year. I went very early in Sept. I have told friends about this place and all have loved it. It has the real family owned orchard feel and not the large scale agra buis feel which is what we were looking for. I'll be back for sure.

When I say the pies are to die for I'm not exaggerating. They only have pies on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. Everyone needs to treat themselves to these pies. They taste like someone's grandmother made them.

They have lots of Amish jams, jellies, pickles, noodles, etc and also homemade Buckeyes and breads! They now take credit cards and Apple Pay. Only a few minutes from downtown Columbus!! It's way out there, and there's not much signage, so keep your eyes peeled for the market. Check in there and get your baskets weighed (bring your own, or pay 25 cents apiece for plastic bags.) Then drive out to the field, way in the back. Plenty of good berries on Memorial Day weekend, and in maybe half an hour we got 4 pounds. Take them back to get weighed, and pay $2/pound. Or, you know, $5/quart for pre-picked... Baby K was able to pick some, Dada's knees and back held up for most of the time, and we didn't collapse from heat exhaustion. They only have a few other things in the farm market in the spring: jam, noodles, cold drinks. I assume there is a lot more in late summer. We had a good time, got lots of berries for not much money, and have plenty to eat and cook with till ours come in.

There is a variety of things represented and that is a plus. From honey, local flowers, bread, seasonings, strawberrys, apples, to handmade "etsy.com type" goods. There were representatives from Barnes and Noble, Aveda, and Crate & Barrel all demonstrating goods, giving free samples, and offering a raffle for free goodies. They also have a service that allows you to make your purchases and store them in a portable truck and if you have other Easton shopping (Macys for example) to do, you can pick up your edible goods when you have finished all of your shopping. This is so thoughtful and convenient. Easton parking is free in the parking garage, and the meters are very inexpensive. The location of this venue is in the back of Chipotle and P.F. Changs, it takes up the entire parking lot (next to where Potbelly used to be). There was a man juggling and riding a unicycle (that made me giggle every time he passed), and a live music. The atmosphere was very nice. It makes the Easton experience that much more appealing. Oh yeah, and I'm certain that at least one of the farmers offers an opportunity for Garden CSA (home delivery of their harvest for a fee). Ask about it. Tip: Take cash, I only saw one vendor that had a sign displayed saying that they accepted credit/debit cards. I promise there will be something that you want to buy :-)

A yummy blueberry stand with blueberry muffins, pies, blueberry lemon bread, jam...love the set up. Awesome pies (loves the rhubarb!) cupcakes, delicious sweet tea, honey and jams, chips, bread and of course fruit and veggies. I even got a free cute veggie scrubber from the easton market stand and plenty of samples, worth checking out! Thursdays from 4-7pm and they even have a veggie valet that holds your goods while you shop, how cute is that?!!

The fresh produce is always top-notch, especially the sweet corn, heirloom tomatoes, apples, and other seasonal fruits and vegetables--they're consistently fresh and full of flavor. I also love browsing their selection of Amish-made jams, jellies, homemade pies, breads, cookies, and local raw honey. It's impossible to leave without finding something delicious to bring home. During the fall, their beautiful mums, pumpkins, and seasonal decorations make the market even more enjoyable to visit.
