I was misinformed about the ammo shipping fees to Rowland Sporting Goods and ended up ordering about $30 worth of ammo to their shop. I asked if I could order 900 more rounds since the fee is $25 per 1000 rounds, and the guy said no - that it would be an additional $25. I also asked if he could just refuse the shipment, and I could just order another shipment with 1000 rounds, and he refused to do that. I ended up paying $17.60 to have the shipment captured and sent back, and I think it was worth it so that I don't have to do business with this FFL. There are plenty of FFLs who do not charge as much for ammo transfers. If you Google "LIST OF CA TRANSFERRING AMMO VENDORS", you can find plenty of places that charge $10 or even $5. read more

Drove 15 minutes after reading great reviews. Upon entrance to door it says you must have a respirator mask before entering. Had I known I would have brought mine. Inside its very very small and it was filled with a about 15 asian customers even tho it says no more than 10 allowed. Everyone spoke mandarin and no one even acknowledge me to see if they had the ammo I needed. I was waiting for a table next door at the Thirsty Cow BBQ, and I decided to check out this gun store. I was super glad I checked it out. Initially I was giggling because of the sign outside that proclaimed "We Speak English" but I was quickly surprised at the selection of historic, PPT, modern sporting rifles and on-roster pistols. The dudes working the counter we're friendly enthusiasts and quickly told me about the best deals on ammo when I asked for 9mm. I didn't purchase anything as I didn't want to turn my 30min wait for a table at KBBQ into a 10 day LOL but I will definitely be back. This shop is great!!!! It is a 2 man operation and they are very nice and very knowledgable. I needed some a lower parts kit transferred to another lower with the buffer tube and stock since my eyes aren't what they used to be dealing with the detent springs and tiny detent pins. I called ahead asking how backed up their gunsmith was and was told to come right in. I walked in and the owner Tank was very pleasant wrote up the slip and I left the parts. A few days later I got called that it was done so I went over and picked it up, they were very slow so we chatted away about different guns and wow he knows his stuff!!!! I did find this place on yelp and some of the other reviews are quite funny as I am not asian and I realize the paperwork to buy a gun takes a while so the wait in any gun shop is normal. I will definitely go back when I need work done and to scope out the many old guns they have there as well as a very nice STI race gun!!!!!!!! Thank you Tank read more

New store for 2d Ammendment supporters. Legit prices on firearms and ammo. Friendly staff. Came back 2 days in a row to get more stuff. Got a free backpack for a laptop of which the bag's rear panel I used to hold a Level 3 ballistic panel. Also took my current FSC test there as well. Plenty of parking. Very nice local gun shop. The staff (Tank) was super helpful and friendly. Didn't rush me or try and persuade me to look at higher priced firearm. The guys told me that the owners met each other way back then at a gun shop and they would all hangout at the gun store. So they decided to do what they enjoyed (hangout and chat about guns at a gun store) and opened this store. It also helps that their guns and ammo are very competitively priced. Lower than other brick and motar stores around the area. Highly recommend checking them out if you need ammo or firearm. read more
