The kennel they were in.had blood everywhere as well as the blanket and the outside. Going to the front door blood everywhere on floor and that included our clothes and the inside of our car. One dog only got the back nails cut and bleeding. Our other Lab got front and back paws clipped and bleeding continually. I noticed no water in their kennel. When they got home they both drank large bowls of water. They ate like they were famished. I am still in tears. So upset that both our sweethearts got injured by this place. We have had such a pleasant and positive experience at NAH Minocqua. From the front desk team to…read morethe doctors and nurses, we feel extremely taken care of. The entire team is professional and knowledgeable. We have endured incredible hardships with our oldest dog, she was paralyzed by a vaccine and we went to great lengths while living in Chicago to get her back to walking. Now that we live up north, the team at NAH is very aware of her past medical history and takes extra precautions with our girl. We also recently added two more dogs to the mix, so we happily have all the pups under one roof for their medical needs. We have used their boarding services, surgical services as well as emergency and routine medical services. All of which have been positive & met our expectations. The clinic is extremely responsive and communicates with tremendous compassion & vast knowledge. Overall, I have a deep respect for veterinary professionals. She comes home tired and ready for a nap and is still worn out a day or two after. Our other dog had done day camp before we moved to Ashland but suddenly became a little temperamental when he went, so we stopped taking him. We talked to Lindsey and Jerry, the owners, about his previous issues and trying to get him back into the day camp groove. They were more than happy to try and ease him back in and work with him, selecting a group he would play well with, etc to give him the best chance to be successful. He was a little on edge dropping him off the first time but he wound up playing all day and getting along with all the dogs there. Since then he's had no issues and gets to go regularly. When we pull into the parking lot they know where they are and get very excited. This place is fantastic!

I use to have to make an appointment that was so many weeks ahead then cart them myself to the groomers early in the morning a trip there and a trip home then pick them up in the afternoon a trip there and a trip home. Now the groomer comes to me and they are done in an hour and I'm on with my day. They listen and do the cut the way you want it not how they want it. Dog looks amazing and smells amazing afterwards and they love the girls at zoom and groom! Thanks for doing such a fantastic job each time!

None of them would see us immediately and one recommended a vet 100 miles away. Called Hayward Animal Hospital and they said bring the dog immediately. We took the dog, they did x rays,blood tests and determined the problem. Called us back and gave us options but recommended the least expensive option to try first. When we arrived to pick the dog up Dr. Ostrander talked with us at length with x-rays in hand. Very professional and personable. Would recommend him to anyone for regular veterinary service or emergency service. Great support staff also.
