As was making my selection the same man that offered no assistance came back and accused me of taking a bottle from the fridge and placing it back on the self. As I explained to him I never even opened the refrigerator door and I put the warm bottle back to get a cold one he just says "Oh okay" and offered no apology for his mishap. Alcohol is definitely a necessity and on the top of the list, right next to snacks. I have never been inside this liquor store, although it's right by my house. There were actually 2 other customers walking in ahead of me when I went. There were quite a few people inside as well and one of the customers actually said out loud "we all have the same idea!" The store itself is not big but a good size. The shelves were all fully stocked. I came looking specifically for the 1800 Ultimate Watermelon & Jalapeno Margarita. They didn't carry any of the ready-to-drink margaritas, only the standard 1800 Silver and Reposado. I ended up getting other bottles. There was a small line when I went to check out but the man & woman (husband & wife?) behind the counter were EFFICIENT! They make a great duo and the line moved quick. They were both very friendly and a few people on line I guess were regulars b/c they were on a first name basis with them. When I went to the counter the woman gave me a compliment on my fit while the guy processed my transaction. Prices are standard with other liquor stores in the area. They don't charge for bags and they packed the bottles securely with cardboard, which I appreciated. I'll definitely be back, next time when there isn't a long line I'll probably ask if they will consider carrying the 1800 Margaritas!

Sometimes they have some select gift sets towards the front of the store along with specials for the week or month. The counter guy is very helpful with finding what I need and friendly. Wasn't going to be easy you cannot have wine sent/delivered to NY unless it's distributor to distributor. I called up the local Garden City Wines and Spirits store Jon answered the phone. You guessed it they did not carry the wine. I wanted a Karas Red. Urghh! But I was lucky that I called this store and the most helpful man Jon answered my call. When I explained my problem Jon said he'd try to find the wine. He called me the same day and had found the wine!! Plus Jon told me it had come in at a lower price then expected. The next day the wine was delivered to my girlfriend in a birthday bag. She was thrilled! Thank you for going the extra mile to make this Bday special.
