I recently persuaded my mother to join the Legion club as she's ex-army. As the driver I joined also as it was cheaper to do so. All in all we found this club to be friendly and pleasant. The bar staff are nice and happy to chat, the beer's cheap and the surroundings are nice enough for what it is. They do rolls and sarnies at lunchtime which is about it, but then, if you want a meal you go to a restaurant right? Cheap beer, nice people, comfy seats, what more can you ask for? read more
