We have used Royal Catering for two large events at our church -- our Christmas Banquet in 2025 and our Deacons' Spring Banquet in April 2026. What really stood out was the excellent service from Kaitlin, their Special Events Coordinator. From start to finish, she was incredibly helpful in every way. She always was prompt in communicating, very accommodating to any adjustments I requested, and extremely helpful in talking through setup and serving options for our events. Topping it off, she was there as a Service Ambassador for both events -- she knew exactly what we had planned and was present to see that it happened. Katlin's teammate at both events, Mario, also was fantastic. Both of them worked hard, with courtesy and professionalism. The setup and food presentation was lovely, and the entrees were delicious. We had Royal Catering cater a small wedding reception for 25 at San Martino Winery. Gustavo set up everything beautifully! It was set up buffet style and he served each individual. The food was delicious!! Im still getting compliments. Gustavo was very attentive to our guests. Afterwards he cleaned up and boxed the leftovers. He even served the wedding cake. Royal Catering is my go-to caterer for events. We use Royal for both large and small group catering at our office, and I never have to worry when I work with Alan and his staff. They provide quick, and accurate quotes. And they always deliver on time! Their food is wonderful, and they have a great variety of menu and pricing options. So whether you have a little or a lot to spend, Royal can always help you think of options that will have your guests stay full and happy. I especially love their BBQ stuffed baked potato bar and their lemon pepper chicken is always a hit. Great service, attention to detail, huge variety of choices on their menu (it was hard to deicide!), many special diet choices that are handled with care (we had gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free + gluten free, and low sodium). Below is the thank you letter I wrote to Royal Catering that provides more detail of service: I would like to take a moment to recognize an outstanding employee that you have there at Royal Catering. I recently worked with Arlene Galvan while organizing catering for an event that took place the middle of this month. The event was corporate training for a group of about 60 people. Arlene was always polite and helped me to figure out what would work best for our group. The thing I appreciated most was her attention to detail. So many times when I am organizing events, details are dropped in the back and forth and it can be very stressful. Arlene took all the stress away by getting details correct from the start and she made sure that the team there carried out a superb event for our group. We had 10 people in the group who had special dietary needs. I was absolutely amazed at how easy Royal Catering and Arlene made it to accommodate these members of our group. I am so thankful because many times these people really struggle to get enough to eat. Not so with Royal Catering- you have so many choices! We requested to make some last minute changes to menu as well and everything completely worked out. I would not have been surprised or too disappointed if the changes weren't possible. I would have understood. However, it made everything perfect to have these late changes carried out. Feedback from the group was that this was their best meeting yet. That had everything to do with Arlene's efforts and also the efforts of the driver who brought the food and drinks. I don't know the name of the driver but he/she deserves recognition too. They were flexible and accommodating. At one point, the group ran short of beverages. They consumed more than I planned for. All was taken care of, extra beverages were provided, and no one missed a beat. In short, please do recognize Arlene and also the driver for our event. We couldn't have been more pleased with the entire experience from start to finish. Leah Sweitzer did a great job with our billing too! She was prompt, polite, and had everything correct. I used Royal Catering to serve 40 people celebrating my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. They were fabulous! Kaitlin took care of confirming my order and setting up a vendor for the chairs and tables (which were delivered and picked up exactly when they were supposed to be) without one hint of frustration with my daily updates and revisions. The gentlemen that came to serve were very professional - courteous and proactive. It's like they were reading my mind and taking care of things I didn't even expect them to take care of. Royal Catering is my first choice in corporate catering. They have great food quality and value. Also, they provide prompt delivery and setup. I don't have to worry about my meeting meals when Royal Catering is my vendor. The preset menu's are nice. We like the VIP Box Lunches and the Fajitas or Build-Your-Own Tacos or Burritos Buffet. One of their employees stole my phone. I didn't get much help from management and no follow up whatsoever, this is the way these guys do business, the employee came in to clean some stuff up and took a phone, turned it off right away so it couldn't traced and left the building. Having been in the "event" industry since 1999, I have used and seen Royal's work for many years. They're consistent in the fact that the food is always amazing. (I swear they must order their pineapple and have it shipped directly from Hawaii!) I have yet to have anything that wasn't over the top in looks, taste and "curb" appeal. Their staff goes above and beyond when setting up the display and taking care of guests at any venue they may be at on any day! I have also referred Royal to several of my personal friends for smaller events at their homes and other venues and heard the following quotes, "Trina! We didn't have to do anything. The staff walked around the house and picked up cups and plates that were sitting around and they took the trash out too on top of setting up and serving the amazing food. Requested a Gluten-Free Vegan meal. What was sent was a chicken salad with a Brownie on top of it. They claim they never got the vegan request, which I can understand, but when attempting to get any information on which procedures are followed in their kitchen for the preparation of a Gluten Free meal, they refused to answer the question. When I asked if the Brownie was gluten free, again they said they would "Email me the ingredients" when they found them. They poisoned me with Gluten and the two ladies on the phone are just horrible people. read more
