His recommendation to remove the whole tree because of the proximity to the house and its age was traumatic for me. He realized this and said he could try to save it but couldn't guarantee it wouldn't continue to deteriorate. He removed a lot of weight from the tree and still maintained its beautiful shape. 4 years later the tree has recovered all its glory and is beautiful. On Monday, a mulberry tree started to deteriorate. One healthy fully berried limb just split at the base and fell to the ground but still attached to trunk 10 feet up. In addition the main trunk had two large trunks in a "V" shape. which had a crack that you could see through to the other side. Clet made it to our house before dark the same day I called. He took a look and said this was an emergency. One half was already touching the roof and antenna and would fully impact the front of my two story farmhouse. The other half was going to impact a cottonwood and be directed right into the side of the house. His crew arrived and took down the mulberry in less than 2 hours. The next morning a massive thunderstorm came through that would have taken the tree down for sure. It was a reasonable cost and above average service, professionalism, and knowledge. I would give 6 stars if allowed.
