Simply the worst. I travel a lot for work and frequent convenience stores like Wawa, Sheetz, and Royal Farms. So I was very happy to see them open a Royal Farms near where I live. It has now been open for several years, and it is the worst. It is the worst Royal Farms on the East Coast. Several times, I have gone there to get gas and they have no attendant. BTW in NJ, you can not pump your own gas, a worker must do it. Well, this morning they had an attendant, but for some reason he was inside the store. I went in, got coffee, came back out, then he waved through the window for me to wait for him. No thanks. Don't have time for that. Store has many other problems. Half the time, there is no one around to ring you up if you are paying cash. The self checkouts only take card. Lots of other issues. Again, simply the worst Royal Farms. read more

[620] This newly built Royal Farms is a nice addition to the area (well for people that pass thru like me). I encounter this when I go to/from the NJ Turnpike to/from 295. I stopped by for some NJ attendant pumped gas :) While I was here I also picked up some of their tasty chicken. Love the chicken.. side were eh.. not for me. Staff was ok.. not unfriendly or super nice .. just ok I'll definitely be back. read more

This place is awful. First of all it is a dirty store employees are lazy and the chicken is salty and taste like it has been sitting out for days. On top of it the girl that made my chicken sandwich was so busy talking to her boyfriend forgot the bacon on it and they charged me for. Do yourself a favor stick to wawa or Dunkin' Donuts. I wish I could give this place two separate reviews. The gas station would get a 1 star and the convenience store would get 3 stars. As far as the gas station this is one of the slowest places I've been to. The attendant seemed nice enough but even though there were two guys "working" it seemed only one of them was actually working. I likely wont get gas here again due to how long I had to wait. It was close to five minutes. I nearly got out and pumped the gas myself. The inside seemed clean and I didnt have any issues. I agree with other reviews I did notice a slight smell of rancid oil but I still got some fried chicken anyway. The fried chicken was decent. Was it the best fast food chicken I've ever eaten, no, but it wasnt bad either. I'd likely get their chicken again. They had the usual assortment of drinks and other snacks which you expect at a convenience store. read more

Food is terrible! Go outside to sit and relax while we eat the employee comes out sits down lights up a cigarette and blows frighin cigarette smoke in our faces while were trying to eat. Really no matters what so ever. While I would have given it a 4 to 5 stars, the 3 stars is because there is no warning that the chicken Parmesan sandwich ( which tasted great) had 3 chicken bones in it. Which totally spoiled the experience due to having to stop with a huge mouthful and rummage around my mouth to pull them out as they were in the middle of the roll/meat and did not see them when initially looking at the meal. Other than that, the people who work here are nice and accommodating. you cant beat half decent food at 330 in the morning. just watch out for the bones in the sandwiches . at least they should put a sign up for new comers. now i know i would give it a 4 star next time. I would think the people who work there would care more to pull them out when making your order, though. read more

I come here to get chicken a couple times a week at around 6:30pm and the place is always filthy. Outside there is always chips, pretzels and trash all over. The windows are always dirty, some days worse then others and the self checkouts are disgusting. Looks like a 6 year olds IPad. I went to check out and besides finger prints all over, jelly and crumbs were all over this machine, trust me when I tell you it was Filthy!!!! I hope that improves. I can deal with most other issues but a clean store is super important to me. read more

Real Fresh, Real F$&#ed up I've been here almost every single day, but I can't recommend Royal Farms any more. My orders have been messed up too many times and I've been cheated on many occasions on their already overpriced food. (Their GAS PRICES are also consistently the HIGHEST in the area - AVOID THEM for gas. Opt for the Sunoco just down the road, or any of the Wawa stations.) The onsite manager (or sub manager?) is horrible (the dude with glasses and a beard). My order got completely messed up and I asked the staff if my order was correct. They assured me it was. I got home and I was missing more than half my meal (because they shove all the food into as few boxes as possible). I had to drive back and tell them what happened. Instead of helping when I told the manage what happened, he asked if I touched the food already. Dude, you can't re-sell food, I get it. I offered to let him check the food, take it back, look at the receipt, etc. But I had to really force the issue to get the rest of the food I paid for ($20 or so - Waffles and tenders are absurdly expensive here). The manager copped an attitude and threatened to pull up the camera footage before barely giving me the food I paid for. He should have given me a new order considering the food was ice cold now (I would have gladly given him back all the cold food), but he refused. I tried to reach out to Corporate multiple times to let them know about this issue, but they haven't responded and it's been 5 days since I contacted them. Horrible service, horrible manager, horrible company. I regret spending so much money here - go to a Wawa instead. It's healthier. Or go to a Popeye's - the chicken is better and cheaper. read more

The service is slowwww. I've tried this place a few times, a different times of the day to see if that made a difference. The employees at this store working the hot food counter are the laziest I've ever seen. They stand around chatting and goofing off instead of making orders. I'm surprised the managers on duty (if there is one) are okay with this. There's also sanitation issues. Today an employee was stuffing his face while making my food. I'm so grossed out. read more

Stopped in to Royal Farms to use the restroom and decided to get something for lunch. Tenders meal with mashed potatoes and gravy. Took lunch out to my work vehicle to enjoy....... Can't remember last time I was this disappointed. Chicken was semi-warm and semi-dry. Potatoes and gravy were completely cold. Tag on top shows it was prepared 12/18/18, today is 12/20. So, 2 day old cold potatoes and tolerable chicken. Not at all impressed. Will search for a Wawa next time. read more

I was told that Royal Farms chicken was much better than the competition. So, I decided to try the new location in Greenwich, NJ. My first mistake was stopping in on opening week. My second mistake was to place an order with a packed house all ready waiting. An hour later, no joke, a whole hour, I finally received my order. My third mistake was to eat it. Well, the next day I paid the price as it made me go and go often. When I got home I tossed ALL of the leftovers in the trash. If you never want to eat chicken again then by all means eat at Royal Farms. read more

The smell of old,rancid oil (again!) Been disappointed in the fried chicken(again)..Where's the colonel when you need him?

I've tried this place so many times and I'm so disappointed!! First time, they were out of coffee cups second time I waited 20 minutes for Mac and cheese because they forgot me. Third time I asked for $20 of regular and they filled my tank. Fourth and final time, I got a box of uncooked potato wedges. I called the last time and the girls response was ok. Ugh get it together. Just amazing, was charged $.40 for a cup of ice while attempting to buy food however, their refrigeration unit was broken and they did not have any food available... I did purchase coffee, just as good as Wawa, where you get cups and ice for free all the time!!! read more

This store was very nice when it opened. Not anymore. It's now a homeless shelter. There are homeless sleeping inside & outside. Somehow they're homeless yet have thousand dollar iPhones. I love stepping around sleeping people to get my morning coffee. Guess I'm going back to wawa for my morning coffee. read more

I went to this royal farms to get chicken for my family, and I had never ordered before so I just ordered it by the piece and ended up paying a lot for it. The boy Ken hooked it up and helped me order a 10 piece instead and I saved like $10. Very good customer service. Also very good chicken. read more

ATTN: ROYAL FARM ON CRESCENT BLVD.... So Memorial Day weekend I stopped in to grab something on my way back to wildwood. GABBY who is a cashier, possibly was after her appalling behavior, had the nerve to act out aggressively toward me and accused me of using the restroom for an absurd amount of time. Had this employee properly handled the situation she would have used the chain of command and spoke to the shift manager who would have informed her that I'd just placed my order at the counter for my food. Instead she stalked after me into the bathroom and called the police on me. As I went to exit the store she aggressively lunged at me attempting to over power me violently to remain in the store. In turn I waited to speak with the police and the shift manager who was just as appalled as I and the behavior of the employee. It bothers me that tonight I actually thought twice about going to Royal Farms and as a result chose to go else where at the hand of this person. I can only describe Gabby as disrespectful, unruly, uneducated and having no manners. How dare her disrespect a customer, not to mention another human being period. It bothers me that I changed direction due to this encounter and it should bother them company as well. I couldn't imagine running a business that had lost customers due to the behavior of their employees. Embarrassing! read more

What a terrible first (and last) experience. I tried Royal Farms tonight and was thoroughly disappointed! After trying to figure out the online menu, I ordered several individual meals. The touch screen does not allow you to cancel an item so I bought a sauce I didn't really want. I paid for the meals and waited at the food counter. First of all, the cashier should tell you they put the original order receipts in the bag so you know your number. Several people said they didn't know their number. I received one order of chicken tenders and was told the other order was not showing up. He then found it. I received my other order which was the supposedly amazing fried chicken. I checked my order in the car and was missing a side from one of the orders of chicken tenders. I went back in and the person behind the food counter told me I didn't order it. I told him I did and showed him my receipt. He gave me the side. The screen they are looking at is not accurate from what you order. The chicken tenders are dry and tough and now that I'm telling people, they've had the same experience at other Royal Farms. There were literally 6 fries in one of my orders. The fried chicken was good but not as good a people say and definitely not worth the aggravation. The honey mustard sauce was good. That's about the best thing I have to say about the food. read more
