This was a new location. Everyone was very friendly and the place was spotless inside and out. You can smell the chicken when you walk in. We already ate so didn't partake this time but they did have some really good specials running for them. Plenty of parking and the pumps were empty. Toxic avoid dirty filthy gross ....great Tesla chargers however so there's that and now I am running out of things to say

Bojangles has nothing to worry about. The two stars are for the food only. The restrooms were clean and the staff was fine, so no issues there. And they even have a no-fee ATM. The chicken, though. I've read for years now about how Royal Farms fried chicken is something extra special. News flash...it's not. I got a 2-piece white with Western fries, a biscuit, and "Chesapeake" seasoning. The biscuit and seasoning both cost extra and the seasoning was just about 1 tsp Old Bay in a tiny plastic cup. The chicken consisted of a very small wing and a large breast. The breast was extremely dried out. The breading was just okay - nondescript seasoning and slightly crunchy coating. Very mediocre, at best. The Western fries are batter-dipped potato wedges that were very limp and soft. The batter was flaking off in large chunks. They might have been good when they were fresh, whenever that was. Dipping them in the Old Bay helped a lot with the flavor but nothing could save that texture. The biscuit was a total non-starter. The flavor was muted and the texture was dense and rubbery. Stop for gas, snacks, or a bathroom break but go somewhere else for dinner. read more

This place is so gross. Have stopped multiple times recently. Trash out front always overflowing, floors and counters inside are nasty.

I came in OMW to work at 1pm. There was a cashier that watched me standing at the food counter for a couple minutes. She had no customers. After a few minutes she came over to the food counter. Did not wash her hands. Started putting on gloves. All the while staring at me ( I was waiting for a "May I help you " at the least). It took her longer to put those gloves on than the time I was already waiting prior to her coming over. Then she moved closer and still didn't say a word just still looking at me. I LEFT !!!! I am very disturbed by this. I will think of this any time I am near a Royal farms and want food or gas. Do better. read more

Stopped here yesterday for gas, the staff greeted me as I walked in the door. The food here is delicious especially the chicken. The inside is usually clean and the bathrooms are, so if you have to get off of highway 95 then this is a good place to stop for gas, snacks, and bathroom stop. The parking lot is pretty big and they do have a car wash. read more

I stopped to get gas and use the restroom. I was going to get some of the great looking fried chicken. I went to the display and and no one greeted me. The blond lady behind the counter was complaining about her job and he boss to her coworker loud enough that I could hear any this went on for several minutes. Finally I asked about getting some chicken and she said that I had to use a monitor to punch in my order. If she would have greeted me instead of complaining I would have had my two pieces of chicken and been on my way. Instead I was just on my way and pissed enough to yelp my experience. By far my worst yelp review ever. A little customer service goes a long way. read more

I loved royal farms when they first opened up here in the area.. real good food! The chicken sandwich was So Good! The price was a bit ridiculous.. like $8 for chicken sandwich alone.. no combo or anything.,but the taste was worth it. Recently they stopped offering that type of chicken sandwich and they only offer like sliders or whatever and chicken strips in a bun.. not good taste.. yeah a little cheaper but for that price i would rather get chick Fil a.. WAAYY better. Anyways overall its very nice gas pumps up to date with Tap to pay. Inside Self pay machines which is what i always like in stores. read more
