The dining area was dirty, and I had to wipe down our own table and seats before we could sit down to eat. The most concerning part of my visit involved food safety. I ordered a steak and chicken bowl, and the employee accidentally added sour cream even though I am highly allergic to it. Instead of immediately making a new bowl, he initially tried to scrape the sour cream off my food. Thankfully, another crew member immediately stepped in and told him to prepare a completely new bowl. I truly appreciate that employee because food allergies should always be taken seriously. We also ordered a chicken and cheese quesadilla and a cheese quesadilla, but they were prepared differently than they had been on previous visits. When I politely asked the manager about it, I felt my concerns were dismissed instead of addressed professionally. After thinking about the overall experience, I returned to request a refund. Since I had already thrown away my receipt, the manager initially refused to help and stated she wasn't going to retrieve it from the trash. Thankfully, the cashier handled the situation professionally by looking up my transaction, reprinting my receipt, and processing my refund. She deserves recognition for her kindness and professionalism, as does the crew member who made sure my bowl was remade after the allergy mistake. This is a walkout or drive-through place, so there's usually not any ambience to speak of, but I generally prefer getting my food to go and then eating in the comfort of my own home anyway, so I do appreciate that they have always been very fast and I have - knock on wood - never gotten a wrong order from them. They are very careful packing up the food to make sure you get everything in your order.
