Ordered a family pack of friend chicken. Smelled delicious. Took a bite of a chicken Thigh. Dry, tough, overcooked. Every piece was like that. So dry that you couldnt bite into some parts of it. Once you bit, you then had to rip the rest of it off. So disappointing particularly now that food has gotten so much more expensive. Will never go here again. Service was rude and hostile for no reason. I went to purchase the world famous chicken and in the process of asking when was the next batch coming up Ricky vehemently stated it will take two hours because it's a catering order. I have to admit stopping for gas really, really f--ing sucks especially while gas prices are on the rise during the spring/summer months AND while having an gas gauge that's inoperative most of the time-- I should really consider having my Fuel Sender Unit replaced, right? I make it my point to stop at this particular Royal Farms often during my commutes because: 1. The staff here is always pleasant and efficient, especially after the self-check out lanes were recently installed 2. I never have an issue with the card readers at the gas pumps unlike some other janky gas stations in the area 3. There is an abundant number of gas pumps so, I hardly ever had to wait for one and the gas pumps are usually are all in good working order/well maintained 4. The food and beverage selection is excellent and the grab n go items are usually well stocked and fresh 5. No matter how busy they are in the deli, I've never had more than a 5 min wait 6. The bathrooms here are always clean/stocked 7. I love their some of their signature items such as their candy bars 8. We came here for a quick stop breakfast on a Wednesday morning. We've never been to a Royal Farms, and we thought it'd be like WaWa. MY HOW I WAS WRONG. Placed our order. Went to pay. Came back for food. We waited 15 minutes for two breakfast sandwiches. 15 MINUTES. My husbands was piping hot, he had chicken. Mine? Cold. Almost ice cold. I waited 15 minutes for a sad looking cold sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was the slowest, poorest, and longest service I've ever had to endure. I kept asking my husband to just ask for a refund, but he refused. Glad someone at least got hot food. Absolutely terrible place, and will not be stopping by again. read more

The chicken is POISONOUS. I have been here and ordered chicken tenders, wings, etc. ordered it all. Ate "fresh" still in the store. Some incompetent employee kept eyeballing me and my family and gave a rude attitude. The chicken was the worst food I have EVER gotten from any restaurant I have ever eaten at. The chicken was so dry it almost felt like it was crumbling apart in my mouth. The potato wedges were equally as bad. The chicken later gave me a terrible stomach virus that lasted for a week. This is what the manager thinks is acceptable. When I called, She told me there's nothing wrong with the kitchen. She refused to accommodate this disgusting food. Demanded I bring the food back RIGHT NOW. Will be calling department of health and reporting this disgusting "fast food restaurant" the grease was almost black. After waiting almost 45 minutes I took my food home thinking I could pop it in the oven and make it work. There's no saving something this disgusting. Driving 35 minutes to this establishment and being told I have to drive another 35 back AND home before they offer any accommodations is repulsive. This Royal Farms (Ro Fo) location has recently had a complete facelift and I am pretty darn impressed! Prior to the remodel, this convenience store was old and rundown. I was more likely to stop at the Exxon across the street than this location. Mostly because it also had a gas station and car wash and the Ro Fo did not. Well, I think it's now giving Exxon a bit of competition. The new Royal Farms expanded the size of its convenience store and also added gas pumps and a car wash. It's looks sparkling clean and inviting to drivers cruising down Telegraph Road. If you're looking for a snack or hot lunch, Ro Fo has you covered with a great selection of food, both prepackaged and from the hot food counter. So go on, give the brand new Ro Fo a try and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! read more

My family stopped in this store on a Saturday afternoon (9/12 around 12:30pm in case upper mgmt cares) The line was VERY long and the cashiers were working hard to get the line down. I got a coffee, my son grabbed a Gatorade, daughter and hubby went over to get western fries. There were 4-5 people standing behind the hot food counter ALL laughing and joking. One young girl was standing there eating pizza that looked to have just come out of the oven. This same young lady was very involved in a conversation with another employee while eating pizza, LICKING her fingers and then went back for more pizza! All behind the hot food area in plain view of customers! I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was unprofessional and gross! I asked the young lady if I could speak with a manager. Her response was that she was the manager! I asked her if she thought it was okay to stand in front of customers eating pizza, licking her fingers and engaging in a lengthy personal conversation while the line was halfway across the store. Her response was that she could eat behind the hot counter. I shook my head in disbelief, purchased my items and left. I have never been to such a poorly managed Royal Farms. I usually have a pleasant experience when stopping at other locations. I don't plan to visit that store again. Which is too bad because it's on the way to my sons weekly games. Gas prices stay competitively low.The staff is pretty friendly, and the food here is pretty good. It can get pretty crowded at time, but i'm guessing thats why they put it where it is. No other blaring issues with this location. I wouldn't not recommend it...lol read more

One of the worst meals I've ever had the chicken was overcooked dry the biscuit was powdery and I didn't get my gravy

2 years old now this Royal Farms is nice and clean. When a facility is new, there is niceness to it.

Came in early in the morning to order a sandwich and some fries, while ordering I said Goodmorning how are you, never got a reply, went grab a drink and came back as the man was preparing my sandwich and I said "hey thank you hoe are you loudly. No response. Ordered a large cheese fry which comes with two cheese cups. He calls my order and waits till I get to the door to yell out " would you like the other cheese dip" then I say thank you I greatly appreciate it and no response. Employees here are looking to get there jaws broken with the ignorant and disrespect they show their customers. Smh read more

Pros: - Clean on the outside. - Lots of gas bays - Has a car wash and discounted gas rate if you get a wash - Well lit, which makes it feel safer Cons: - The building smelled sickeningly of deep fried chicken - Even though I've used my credit card at other stores with the updated zipcode, this place had my old zipcode on file, which doesn't make any sense to me since the store itself doesn't keep that, the card reader reaches back for that. Didn't understand why the updated one didn't work, which worries me about using the card here. - There was a cashier behind the counter not checking anyone out, but having a lazy conversation with a guy/customer about why another worker wasn't there and when said worker was on shift. That was annoying as it slowed things down, or at least didn't speed them up like it could have. - Bathroom was unclean.
