For several years now I have used their preferred customer annual service contracts. This year, a…read morehighly professional service man checked our system and made a few minor adjustments. A day later, totally unrelated, our master thermostat broke! The same professional service man came and replaced the thermostat after checking to assure it was not caused by some action he had performed earlier. This is where the positives terminate! We received a bill for the service which was termed for a preferred customer. It was outrageously expensive with the thermostat priced at 4 times its costs online, plus a call out fee, a fuel service charge and the normal service charge. i was assured in writing I had preferred customer discounts. I paid the bill immediately but sent in a letter dated 10 August 2017 expressing my dismay a the costs. Fast forward to October, I had not heard from Hardin in any manner on my concern. I placed a call to the owner and was assured he would get the message. A week later no communications had been initiated by Hardin. I again called today, assured Mr Hardin knew of my letter and call and was transferred to the service manager. His response was that they were very busy and gad lots of costs. I have asked for my refund of annual contract as this is extremely poor customer service. Too busy to call.
