The corn dogs were slightly burnt (in our opinion) but the flavor was very good, we would order again. However I think the chips are a miss....just serve them without them and charge a little less in my opinion, they aren't needed. We liked both sauces. The potatoes we originally ordered with the fried egg but the server forgot (she was very apologetic) and got one out to us after a few mins. The egg honestly did nothing to the dish. We wish the potatoes were crispier for sure but the garlic aoli was good. However, we prob wouldn't order it again. The masa cakes were good, I would order again but nothing mind blowing. Overall it was just ok. I think what kind of set our decision to probably not return is the fact that a table near us had asked the server something (we aren't exactly sure what) and she took their dish back and then proceeded to talk crap about them in the server/kitchen area. My husband said the table didn't hear her but I don't know how they didn't as she was talking very loudly about how "my tables are so annoying today! The things people ask for are crazy" (etc) and it made me really uncomfortable. I used to be a server and can understand frustrations with customers but it was unprofessional to talk crap about them when other customers can hear.

Well Kate took care of us and it was clear she has thought through the menu. We enjoyed the marinated goat cheese and the zucchini blossom cakes as well as the unique take on chili relleno (with nasturtium!) before diving into the grilled octopus that rivaled the same dish we've had many times in in Portugal. Impeccable service and a creative cocktail menu rounded out the evening. Highly recommend!

The room itself was somewhat spacious. Our ski gear ended up making the room a little crowded. We were just happy that the beds were nice and comfortable. Our room was near the back door, so we were able to park toward the back of the hotel to have quick access to our vehicle. The Grand Lodge has a nice lobby area. I enjoyed hanging out in front of the fireplace late evenings. There is a fitness room and a gift store near the lobby that sells souvenirs, merchandise and personal items. There is a restaurant called the Highlife Crust & Crafts inside of this hotel. We didn't dine there, but I did grab a breakfast burrito one morning and got charged twice for it. So I had to return to get a refund. The food at Highlife is a little pricey. There are plenty of food options in the surrounding area if you want something more affordable. Overall, our stay here was good and we enjoyed the convenience of having a short walk to the ski resort.

The kitchenette is also great if you want to bring some of your own food. Yes, you may have a different experience based on where you reserve your room. We used Vrbo. The hotel is not brand new but honestly, who goes on vacation to stay in their hotel room and examine some paint chips on the wall? I'll definitely be back again.

We were excited for our rafting trip with The Adventure Company, but unfortunately the way they…read morehandled our concerns afterward left us far more disappointed than the trip itself. Our original Numbers trip was canceled due to low water, which we completely understood. We were offered Browns Canyon instead, and we accepted. The problem wasn't the change in route or the water conditions--it was that we weren't told until we were literally boarding the bus that our group of six would be split into separate rafts. Had we known this in advance, we would have taken the full refund that was offered instead. We understand that safety comes first and that low water conditions require adjustments. At no point did we ask them to compromise safety or keep us together if it wasn't possible. Our frustration was with the complete lack of communication. According to our guide, the low water conditions had existed for days, yet we weren't informed until there was no realistic opportunity to change our plans after driving out. To make matters worse, my partner and I were paired with two guests who chose not to participate or engage at all, while the rest of our party had a completely different experience. Corey, our guide, was excellent and did everything he could, but the experience we paid for was fundamentally different from what we expected because of a last-minute decision that could have been communicated earlier. What was most disappointing was the company's response. Rather than acknowledging that the timing of the communication was the issue, they repeatedly insisted we had "inaccurate expectations" and argued against points we never made. We never claimed groups should never be split. We never blamed them for the drought. We never blamed them for the other guests. Our only complaint was that we were denied the opportunity to make an informed decision because the information wasn't shared until we were already boarding the bus. Instead of recognizing that distinction, they repeatedly reframed our complaint as if we simply didn't understand how rafting works or had unrealistic expectations. It felt dismissive and defensive rather than customer-focused. If you're booking with this company, understand that significant changes to your trip--including being separated from your group--may not be communicated until the last possible moment. If that's something that matters to you, be sure to ask specific questions beforehand because you may not have the opportunity to change your plans once you arrive. The rafting itself was fine, and Corey deserves credit for doing a great job. My low rating is based almost entirely on how our concerns were handled after the trip. A little transparency and a willingness to listen would have completely changed this experience.

I strongly advise looking for another mountain biking outfitter in Moab. Our private tour of the…read moreDead Horse Point Singletrack on April 11th was a massive disappointment, largely due to Rim Tours' misleading staff and lack of basic safety protocols. Before booking, I explicitly called their office to inquire about the trail's difficulty. Their representative adamantly assured me that this was an easy, beginner-friendly ride. That was completely false. The trail features rocky, technical terrain. When confronted about this later, management simply pointed to the "intermediate" label on their website, completely ignoring the blatant misrepresentation by their own sales team over the phone. To make matters worse, we were caught in a severe storm. While I understand a standard "rain or shine" policy, we were exposed to active thunder and lightning out on the trail. A competent outfitter would prioritize safety and pull their clients off an exposed plateau during a lightning storm. Instead, because we had to end the ride early to avoid being struck by lightning, Rim Tours hid behind their cancellation policy and refused to offer any kind of refund or credit, claiming the guide deemed it "appropriate to proceed." If you value honest communication and your own personal safety, do not book with Rim Tours. They will tell you whatever you want to hear to get your credit card, and once the tour starts, you are completely on your own.
