My husband and I are researching 55+ communities in Central Florida, and Royal Highlands is one of the places we WERE interested in. I called their offices several times, but nobody was ever there to answer the phone. I left two messages, asking for an appointment to tour Royal Highlands, and nobody ever bothered to return my phone calls. All the other communities I reached out to has offered a tour while we are down in Florida, so they will be the ones we focus on. The fact that nobody is even available to answer a phone message is of great concern to someone wishing to move someplace SAFE and secure, like their advertising promises. read more

The administrative office does not answer their phone. Repeated phone calls made daily to both extensions. Finally after many attempts to reach a person I left a voicemail on extension # 2 and never received a return call. Not to mention several residents I spoke with after driving to the office said they are never avaliable....and it was 2pm on a Tuesday and the door was locked. read more

Your retirement awaits you here. This is a senior gated community. My sister law was able to purchase their home right from the builder and that was 20 years ago. The subdivision still looks brand new. The homeowners associations does a wonderful with the maintenance and upkeep with the whole subdivision. They have a nice pond and the homes are all ranch style with two car attached garage. It's peaceful and quiet. read more
