Fortunately I had not paid for the flooring yet so, when I was left to find someone new to do the job at the last minute, it was a stressful nightmare (had to put the plumber off for a third time- the first 2 were due to the sheetrock guys) but I wasn't out any money. After a few hours of looking up online reviews and hearing ridiculous prices from various flooring companies who couldn't do it sooner than 3 weeks out anyway, I finally stumbled across a local company that I had no idea even existed! Enter KC Floorworx! Melissa (works in the office) answered the phone and listened to what I needed, then assured me that they could help. I was so relieved I may have started crying on the phone, lol. She was amazing and put me at ease, but did say they only install their own products. Ok, no problem, I will look at your options. While talking with her on the phone I found 2 options that were very similar to what I had chosen from Menards, so she worked up a quote for both and called me the next day. Melissa had someone (I think the owner?) out the next day to measure, talk about what I was wanting done, and order the material. I had to work the day of the install (about a week later) so my parents tag-teamed being there with the floor guy who came out and both said he did an amazing job and was very thorough and detailed in his work. The floor looks amazing and I couldn't be happier with it! They did me a huge solid by getting the process done quickly, did great work, and were amazing to work with.
