Really cool show and very interactive. The fire show at night or during the day like we had is fun to watch. The dancers get your guest to participate. Everyone young and old said it was the most fun grad party they went to. We had a little burning of fake grass so I would suggest having them on concrete or real grass that easier to fix. I CAN NOT RAVE ENOUGH ABOUT THIS BUSINESS. WOW!! We hired the hula-fire dancers and full catering for a private event at our home for a housewarming/surprise birthday party. The show was BEYOND anything that I could have imagined. The talent, beauty and authenticity of this family is superb! I can NOT stress enough how special our event turned out. We hosted at our home because it was a housewarming party, but their venue is INCREDIBLE and I will definitely be doing hosting events there in the future. You feel like you are in Hawaii- on your very own private island. My wife and I were recently married on a beach in Hawaii. Our only regret was not being able to have our family and friends with us for our special day. Our plan was to organize a reception upon our return to Arizona. When we started planning, we were sad the Hawaiian experience would be lost. Since we couldn't bring our loved ones to Hawaii, we wanted to bring Hawaii to them. We searched for luau experiences in Arizona and came across Tia's Royal Islanders. After contacting Tia and Melekai, they graciously invited us to visit their Mesa location. We were very impressed with the Hawaiian themed location, complete with Koi pond, waterfall and tropical murals. They were set up with a food service area, bar, entertainment stage, dining area and garden grounds that provided an island feel. We immediately booked our event there, which included luau meal, hula and fire dancers, drinks, etc. When we arrived for our event, we were greeted with flower leis for the ladies and kukui nut leis for the men. The food, which consisted of Kailua port, teriyaki chicken, grilled vegetables, rice and delicious guava cake. Everything tasted amazing and reveled anything I have had at the 3 luaus I have experienced during past trips to Hawaii. The entertainment far exceeded the hula and fire dancers I have seen in Hawaii on many occasions on different islands. Tia and his family, consisting of all the cooks, servers and entertainers, were amazing and everything far exceeded our wildest dreams and expectations. If you are looking for an authentic luau experience in Arizona, this is the place for you. Since we live in the west valley and the venue is located in Mesa, we chose to charter a bus for our guests. If you want an experience at your own venue, they offer to bring the experience to you. We chose to avoid the set up, clean up and table and chair rentals and were glad we chose to use their venue. Wound up at Tia's Royal Islander for another Team Appreciation Event, everyone had such a great time the 1st time, we decided to come back! Again, the venue is gorgeous, you feel like you have left the valley and have been transported to the islands. A very beautiful location. The food was great, again we had the buffet, Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Island Rice, tropical fruit, and grilled mixed veggies. Everything was delish! There also was coffee, coco, tropical punch, and mai tais :) I happen to really love the pork; it was tender, juicy and just delish! The entertainment is the reason we were are here! The Hula Dancers & Fire Dancer they are amazing! In the background is a live band playing. The show is even interactive with your group; some people get pulled up on stage to help the dancers out. This is truly a family run business too, from Mom & Pop, daughters, sons, grandkids, cousins and more. If you are looking for a different type of event for your group I would highly recommend Tai's Royal Islander! This place and the performers here are STUNNING! Having taken a family vacation to Hawaii, you genuinely feel like you're no longer in Mesa but on a tropical island. The best most authentic Luau you are going to experience this side of the Islands. I've been to a lot of Luau's in Hawaii, this one makes you feel like you are there because it is immersive, the location feels like you are actually in Hawaii. I simply found this cater on the Internet while looking up Pig Roast caterers. We were throwing a Hawaii Five-0 theme to party for my 50th birthday at a private residence. They did an excellent job with the catering and the dancers were far better than I expected. The marinated shredded pork was the best. The mai tai drinks were excellent and they brought enough staff to serve everyone and help cut the cake. Really the dancers were excellent and there were a lot of them. I think the fire dancer might've burned his balls! I was very impressed with them and would highly recommend the food , and the entertainment really wowed my guests. Just had our corporate event held out here on Saturday night. Great location that really makes you feel like you aren't in the Valley of the Sun anymore. It is a cool atmosphere with a lot of unique things. From the koi ponds to the hula girls to the fire dance everything was new to me. They also performed a demonstration showing how to take a part a real coconut. Never realized that it was more than just the brown sphere that we most associate with the word. We hired the Royal Islanders to perform for us for our 50th Wedding Anniversary July 30, 2016. We were unable to hold our event at their place because due to weather and number of family coming in from all over the US so it was held at the Scottsdale Hilton Resort and Villas in Scottsdale. They were so personable, the dancers,fantastic, great, and the audience participation was a fun time. Everyone complimented us for the great show and how we made our 50th truly memorable for each who attended. In fact, one of our guests who had been to Hawaii 2 months previously stated," the dancers were better than in Hawaii and the food was better than in Hawaii."
