They set up the boats on our table. Very friendly staff.

Wow, our wedding appetizer table was talked about for days. It was amazing what was done with individual apps that guests could easily pick up and take with them. I highly recommend Xoxo.

Now let's talk about the real reason we came... the PRODUCE When I say abundance, I mean piles on piles of fresh fruits and veggies looking like they just clocked in from the farm that morning. And the prices? Let's just say my wallet didn't flinch, and that's rare these days! But wait--it's not just fruits and veggies. Oh no, they got the goodies too: Locally made jams, jellies, fresh juices, pickled EVERYTHING, and dehydrated snacks that had me acting real brand new in those aisles. I had to stop myself from grabbing one of everything like I was on a cooking show with no budget The place itself? However, I was met and left with a bad taste in my mouth. No pun intended. The female employee (short hair/glasses) was not the friendliest person, even after I tried being overly nice. I don't know if she was having a bad day or just hates males in general but not a good representation of a place I was eagerly awaiting to try. I first asked if there was a difference in drinks from what was on the menu and up on the board above. She answered snarky, "if it's up on the board and on the menu it's the same" Mind you, one said latte and the other did not, hence the question. I opted with what I normally get. She took my order and then while looking down, stated, "2% milk okay" I said sure then asked if whole was available. You would've thought I had asked for her to go milk the cow and bring it back. She was very annoyed, so I said 2% is fine. I paid for my coffee then stood and watched her began preparing it. I saw her add one quick pump of syrup so I said, could I maybe have one more pump. Again, you would've thought I was about to suck them dry of all syrup. She seemed annoyed and looked at the register and began to say what I assume was they charge for extra, so I quickly said never mind. All in all I was disappointed with my interaction. The coffee was good and the wrap was okay but I dunno if I'd go back.

This beautiful little shop feels like stepping into another world the moment you walk in. It's family run, and you can truly feel the love and creativity that goes into everything they make. From cupcakes and tortes to cookies and so much more, every display case looked amazing. They even had gluten-free options, which was great to see. Gabriel welcomed us in and took the time to walk us through all the delicious treats they had to offer. His kindness and enthusiasm made the experience even more special. Since it was our first visit, we were treated to complimentary shortbread cookies -- we chose lavender and rose -- and both were absolutely delicious. We ended up taking home a strawberry brownie, the tuxedo cupcake with dark chocolate and buttercream frosting, a vanilla cupcake, and the limoncello cupcake. Every single dessert was wonderful and beautifully made. This is the kind of bakery you instantly know you'll return to again and again. We will definitely be back!

The decor is unique and gives service to their heritage and personally curated feel. No doubt there is something to enjoy for everyone here. I'm not sure about Vegan or gluten free options.

From the moment we walked in, the cook herself greeted us with the kind of warm, genuine smile that makes you forget you're in a public space. By the end of the evening she had invited us to her actual home for cooking lessons--like we'd known her for years instead of minutes. That kind of unscripted hospitality is rarer than a perfect risotto. And the food? Pure deliciousness that matches the heart. Every bite sang with bright, honest Italian flavors--nothing fussy, nothing fake, just layers of garlic, herbs, tomatoes, and cheese that taste like they came straight from someone's nonna's Sunday table. The dishes were so full of soul you could almost hear the wooden spoon scraping the bottom of the pot. It's a small, unassuming spot that somehow manages to feel both intimate and alive. You leave not just full, but genuinely happy, already daydreaming about that next visit (and those promised cooking lessons). If you want Italian food that tastes like love served on a plate, stop searching. You've found it. Five radiant stars. Go. Bring friends. Learn to cook. Repeat.

We each selected the $44 set meal that included a Caprese salad and bread, fried calamari, hot bruschetta ragu, Sicilian-style lasagna and, ta da, gelato for desert. The fresh mozzarella was so gorgeous we ordered 2 balls to takeaway. Hot bruschetta ragu was simply lovely bread topped with a meat ragu and melted mozzarella. Honestly, we've had better calamari and would prefer a marinara sauce versus what tasted like French fry sauce. The lasagna was delicious and the serving of such a size we happily brought some home. My partner ordered South Africa Dark chocolate and Reese's gelato whilst I ordered Madagascar vanilla and key lime gelato. Whilst Dolce Vita is a restaurant it felt and tasted as if we were eating at someone's home. The young staff were super attentive and very knowledgeable about all on offer. I highly recommend you give Dolce Vita a go!
