I came with ear plugs and a sleeping mask so it worked out for me. The furniture is a bit sparse all around, but still a nice inn and place to stay. The parking is free and there is plenty around the building and it was nice to be close by a coffee shop. The inn provides a lot of food recommendations and things to do nearby. If I had time I would have checked out the Horicon marsh to go birding.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The window shades had the dark "black out" curtain as well. This was especially welcome promoting a deep & restful sleep. My wife is disabled and travels with a small service dog who is always vested, carries an ID card, and is registered and certified; this was noted in our online booking. This was our first stay at any B&B of *any* size; in the past two years we've spent 36 nights at hotels both independent and branded. The room we stayed in, the Moose Room, is very well-equipped with exquisite attention to detail. The bed was pleasure to sleep in and had the most comfortable sheets we've ever encountered in a hotel room. A two-person Kohler whirlpool tub is in the main room. We were astounded at how quickly the tub filled and we were never short of hot water. The shower has a very inexpensive nozzle on it; a removable or rainfall style showerhead would be more befitting the quality of the rest of the room. I can say that Tausheck's is an extremely high quality facility with extreme attention to detail and very comfortable rooms. The Tausheck's should be commended for the quality of the B&B. Unfortunately, I can't say we will be back since we now know that this isn't the type of place for us given our unique situation, which probably doesn't apply to you. If you're a couple looking for a romantic getaway in the "greater Sheboygan" area, I'd highly recommend Tausheck's and think you'd have a great time there. --postscript-- My previous review (which I edited and have subsequently raised the rating to three stars) dealt with some exchanges with the innkeepers specific to accommodating my spouse's service dog. Given that this was the first time that the innkeepers dealt with a service dog in their 12 years of existence, they did accommodate us the best they could with the knowledge they had at the time. We learned after our stay that inns of this size are exempt from the Americans with Disabilities Act as there are 5 or fewer rooms - see 28 C.F.R. § 36.104. This wasn't known to us, or the innkeepers at the time of our stay, so it's unfair for me to dive into the specifics. That being said, I hope that the B&B's web site is revised to reflect this so that any other guests having a similar situation to ours are aware in advance and can make the appropriate decision.

I was able to rest peacefully. They had a full kitchen. The customer service was fantastic.. I was very impressed with this hotel and I highly recommend from one night to a week or two. It is the place to stay. If having a procedure done, they do give a discount.

In fact, I don't mind there not being a bunch of kids running back and forth from the pool. Anyway, the place is kept up very well and everything is very clean and in excellent shape. The bed was firmer than I like. The shower could use some hand holds. But everything was very clean and the rooms were very quiet. We once stayed on New Years and they have an annual family party that is rather loud all through the night. We thought it was a very nice thing to do and we heard not a thing from inside our room and slept like babies. They are relatively inexpensive and we would recommend them to anyone who appreciates cleanliness, orderliness, and a nice place to get a good night's rest. The countryside is beautiful all around too.

We're used to 3-4 star hotels and this place is right on par with them without being a big chain. It's very clean from the lobby to the rooms, the beds were comfortable, the staff extremely friendly. They even offer a small, limited pastry breakfast but the pastries are fresh and they tell you ahead of time that it is a limited and small continental breakfast. If you are doing something in any of the nearby towns and don't want to pay the price of the big hotel chains, then this place is for you! We will definitely be staying here again in the future.
