They are a family run shop who fixes jewelry, repairs watches, and sells engagement rings, estate jewelry and high end watches. They also have catalogues where you can custom make a piece. They are very busy and do great work - a jewelry repair can take a week, so keep that in mind. When I get a piece back from them, it is always done high quality and shining bright.

Shulz Jewelers…read more Many years ago when Schulz was located in Covington, Kentucky, they were the place to buy jewelry or get a clock or watch fixed. The old man had come from Germany where he was a jeweler and he was the best. Now they are located in Ft. Mitchell and the old man is long gone. I took a watch there to get a new battery and they said I had to leave it for a week before they could give me an estimate as to how much it would cost to repair. I was also told it never actually takes a week. They never called as promised. I was told it would cost round $250.00 to repair and I would have to wait another 5 to 7 weeks. In the past they charged me $125.00 for a new crystal. Another jeweler I found charges $50.00. I finally got it back after 10 days and took it to another jeweler. The new jeweler replaced the battery for $15.00 and said that an insulator was blocking the battery, which probably occurred when Shulz first looked at it. The new jeweler fixed it. Fifteen dollars and 15 minutes not $250.00 and seven weeks. Times have certainly changed.

This time, brought an omega watch in for battery replacement. Came home and realized watch wasn't working. Brought it back the next day. Girl who fixed it said battery was fine, could send the watch in for repair with 3 weeks turn around. Opted not to but at least refunded my battery repair. Drove 1/2 mile up the road to Swinford.
