This mattered because there was a difference in the sale price (25% vs 30%) and because even without the sale the ring was more expensive than similar styles, and I was told it was because it was a natural diamond. Long story short, they gave me the paperwork folded up, in its little folio, after I bought it. Turns out it's a lab diamond. Thankfully, I love it and don't care - but what if I did? Pretty obvious they made a mistake and instead of owning up to it they successfully hid it. Another star deducted because they offered $900 for a necklace and ring I got $1800 for elsewhere. I expected them to be less... but THAT much less? That feels sus.

Many employees available to assist, wide variety of products and generally small discounts. The larger, brighter facility is much more inviting and comfortable to browse. I did notice that it appears that electronics which need a bit quicker churn seem to be priced more aggressively. The new location can hold quite a bit more product and the sheer amount of jewelry is impressive. Ted's now has a few antique type items and is also a pretty good resource for used tools. As similar to before, the pricing is not very exciting from a buyer perspective, but for prospective pawners, Ted's might be one of the best solutions in the city. A significant amount of space in the back is dedicated to evaluting products and processing pawns and payments. They accept a pretty impressive amount of merchandise and now have a terrific new facility to store it in.
