I was told my bags were only worth $2,500, and the whole interaction felt like an attempt to scare me into settling for far less than they were actually worth. The most telling part was how fast the story changed. The second I mentioned I had another offer for $4,000, suddenly the value of my bags magically went up. Then when I came back to get my bags, she tried to offer the $4,000. That alone told me everything I needed to know. It made the entire experience feel completely dishonest, manipulative, and predatory. What stood out most was how disgusting her attitude was throughout all of this. There was no professionalism, no courtesy, and no respect. Just arrogance, rudeness, and behavior that made me feel like she was trying to take advantage of me. I would never do business with her again, and I would strongly warn anyone thinking about bringing valuable items there to be extremely careful. I would recommend never visiting this store.

If you've never shopped here before, when you come in you'll feel right at home and like you've known them forever. Sabrina is great at giving fashion advice and being honest at what looks good and what's not flattering. Mary, the owner, is like that cool aunt that everyone wishes they had. She's great at finding suggestions for how to dress for the different decades. Miami twice has been a staple for vintage fashion for over 40 years with good reason. By the way, if you think you're only coming in to buy clothes for a themed party, you're mistaken. You'll probably leave with a few "extras" you didn't go in looking for, but found impossible to leave behind.

Pricing is reasonable given that it's a private boutique in Miami and the clothes are adorable. Staff was extremely friendly and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or stalk you around the store like many places do. The woman working there took note of specific styles I was trying on and went out of her way to recommend other things she thought I might like which was super helpful (and ultimately successfully dragged me into convincing myself I needed more lol). Even more telling is the odd, mismatched feel of the store. The aesthetic is worn and dated. Feng Shui anyone? anyone? Speaking of odd the door was locked when I pulled on the handle, in the middle of the day. Suddenly, I felt oh so safe ;-) Again, I want to see more stores, a well curated cocktail of boutiques ranging from hip vintage boutiques brimming with treasures to high end international names, and local up and comers.
