My first session with him I scheduled out of necessity: I was experiencing severe neck tension that was limiting my mobility, so I booked the first available appointment. I've now had 4 sessions with Ed over the past year, and I can't recommend him highly enough for easing muscle pain, tension, and limited mobility. He employs various techniques, including acupressure, trigger point therapy, and cupping. I am consistently amazed at how much relief I have after one of his massages, and will continue going back for therapeutic treatment. It was my first massage so I had a very open mind. The massage itself was pretty good. I didn't expect to be so oily after and that it would stain my clothes. I wish I would have been warned of that. I also felt that my therapist talked a little too much and brought up heated topics like homophobia, which took away from what should have been a relaxing experience. There were other topics brought up regarding my culture as a Native American that I'd wish not to publicly mention. I left here feeling very anxious unfortunately. Yelped massage places open on Saturdays in Sioux Falls and found this place. I'm so glad I did. Harley was knowledgable and effective. She took her time to assess the situation and then dug in deeply to really loosen me up. I had a message only 2 days ago by a professional in the Twin Cities. It was nice but ineffective. I've had excellent massages before and others that are just meh. I have to admit that I was skeptical that I'd find a good massage on a Saturday in a city I don't know. But I struck gold. In Sioux Falls for a few days and my aching back and neck finally drove me to seek out a massage. Called a few places and Royal Table was able to fit me in for an hour massage that afternoon. I walked in to find a very professional atmosphere in an office that also offers chiropractic treatments. I filled out the info sheet and then was led into my room. Quite a nice facility. Comfortable, clean room with a great table that was very comfortable and even heated! Great start. My masseuse was Michelle Cox. She asked me what I wanted her to focus on and checked in with me throughout the massage to see if I was okay, and if I needed it harder or softer. I had major neck issues and knots all over my back and even into my hips. Michelle did a fantastic job of thoroughly working out the tension in my neck and finding the knots all over my back and addressing them firmly and effectively. It was just the right kind of hard pressure and wound up promoting some very deep, tension releasing breaths. The hour went far too fast and before I knew it, it was time to end. Thankfully, she had given very good attention to all the crucial sources of pain, so o left a very satisfied customer. read more
